OK its not that difficult, but you still need to get 20 wins, that at least are 20 games, that you have to play. This amounts to about 4 hours gameplay. Double this for all the players who just win every second game. Not all have much time during the week, I for example can manage usually 2-3 hours on the evening, that means, I have to play at least two evenings. So please, before you begin to whine about thats not good enough, thats all to easy etc. think about all the other players that have to work under the week.

Not to mention those without teams (or temporarily without team), and those of us on a horrendous losing streak. Seriously, I've just now gotten to half the total challenge numbers, and I played 3 sessions at about 2 hours each, with something like a 4/1 loss ratio. Ugly! Glad this one's doable, and I'll still need to grind 10 matches tomorrow.

I'm sick of it already... 2 matches of conquest and all I got was bloody flocks of premade 3L's. Like seriously do you actually think this **** through PGI because sometimes you just promote the entirely wrong playstyle for no purpose.

Too bad I am busy playing the Zerg Campaign these days and don't have time for MW:O. But then, it's just some cockpit item.


If you worry about Cap-Rush Online due to this, just remember this the next when we discuss possible consequences of the return of Repair & Rearm and what kind of strategies players will adopt to deal with it.

This is just about a completely useles spiece of junk hanging in your cockpit or not. It won't make you in-game rich or poor if you adopt or don't adopt the best winning strategy.

For PGI, of course it might give them some useful information on player behaviour and problematic aspects of their game.

Done it yeterday, Nice Event.because i nearly never played Conquer before.


PS: i wouldnt need this Cocpititem as a Reward, a nice Medal is enough for me, to like the Events.

I liked this Challenge, thanks PGI!

It's hard for me to find much time during the week to play for extended periods, so splitting over a few days is nice. I didn't compete in the last one because of no time.

I've always wanted the .50 cal bullet item and was waiting for a sale, but this is even better! Pugged until 1AM last night to get it done since I'm busy the rest of the week.

I didn't notice too much out of the ordinary, no packs of 3L's for lights capping on assult to often (the few times it happened we could have prevented it). Couple of small spider groups is all that I recall. I ran my Flame on "random" until I finished 10 assault victories, then switched to a Jenner for the final few conquest victories. Played like normal, cap closest quickly->fight with team->recap as necessary. Tried to get at least one kill per game, got 3 in my Jenner once, I was proud. Games were pretty tough, though I enjoyed it. I did get stuck with some questionable noobs (like "Do I have to hold tag on target the whole time?"), but ended up winning at least 50% of the games I played so I can't complain.

I really like that we get MC-only items for these challenges, keep it up!

Given there are still plenty of hacks out there for MW:O this is really the only kind of 'contest' you can offer to us these days. Please link up with PB or come up with hack detection through the launcher... something, anything guys! This is a serious issue for me and many others'. I'll be in Grid2 until I am unable to find working hacks on the net for this game that I love so.

I swear the first day I read about this challenge I saw something about a "Medal" and a cockpit item, but now no mention of the "Medal" and I also noticed that it went from "Get 10 wins of each mode and 5 of either after the 10 each" that seems to have changed. I really looked forward to some sort of Medal to be displayed with my Founder Tag, but I guess not. Am I wrong?

I just finished this challenge today, and I needed 10 wins of each. And those last two Conquest wins took FOR.EVER to get. Also while the description said "medal" if you went to your profile under "Challenges", you'd have seen it was a .50 Cal Necklace since day 1, the same that you can purchase for MC.

Personally I think these challenges are a great way to get items without having to spend MC. I mean spend it if you want the item right now, but this gives you the chance to get another one to mount in a different 'mech if you've already got it. And it's definitely gotten me to play the game more often than I normally would have.

Challenge complete!

First of all I want to thank a lot all my teammates (and all my foes). because the success on my challenge is in great part thanks to themñ.
Thank you for participate, volunteer or not, in this challenge and all the efforts everyone put on winning matches.

Something I don't understand is the whinning about the challenge being too easy..

C'mon.. some of us we have a live outside computer games.. Jobs, sons, wifes.. that anly allow 1-2 hours a day of play time...
as someone stated previously 20 victories are at least 160 minutes, and the count grows when we usually don't get 20 victories streaks (that would be a fine achievement..)

I think the quantity of victories required,and the time span is fine...
last night (8 hours ago in my time zone) was my last oportunity to achieve the challenge, as when I arrive home today, the challenge will be over. So..
thanks again everybody for playing with me and good luck to whoever is in the path of achieve the challenge!!

I also read the medal thing... but they didn't stated if it were a cockpit item, a forum badge ..

but it seems the medal has dissapeared from the rewards of the challege...
Could it be a way to make a protest? If you played initially for the medal.. maybe you would be spoiled when it was removed.

You are absolutely right. It is really sad. Why would you tell people they get something and in the end, you hand out half of it. They even changed the text in the news section. I don't remember this part "Get 10 wins of each mode and 5 of either after the 10 each" but I defenitely remeber the medal....
