I have noticed by having people spectate me that HSR is definatly not functioning like it used to....

Playing from Austrailia with 280 ping i feel HSR more than most and in the last few weeks there is 100% a problem with it. I have to lead a good mech or 2 length especially when shooting lights. Soooo many 0 damage hits (reticle lighting up red but 0 damage due to HSR)

Please PGI this makes the game unplayable for me........

If its of any help. I only noticed it since the "netcode optimization"

So possibly could have something to do with that as it used to work great!

It's not just you.
my whole EU unit is struggling to hit targets that are standing still, and problem isn't our aim...

I was doing good until the last patch, now my scores have significantly dropped.
It's inconsistent with me though. I'll have a few matches where all my shots are doing damage, then a string of matches where I can't do jack for damage.

Try having low ping and getting shot 5 seconds after you moving away from enemies.

It's definitely an issue.

SRM hit detection on lights is just crazy bad now as well...I am basically noting that light lag shield which had been gone since roughly february is back in full force.

I've noticed some change recently, although it's subtle since my ping is generally good. It does seem like something is kind of off.

Absolutely HSR has taken a step back. My ping is 180-250 so significantly noticed when HSR first came in and my PPCs were viable. Now it's back to the original 'shoot and pray' with ERPPC and PPCs when I have zero confidence in whether or not they are going to register.

This is a very big issue right now and I really hope PGI acknowledge it and us a fix for us very soon or the game is going to be near on unplayable to the point that its just luck if your hit's register or not with any weapon type.

Ive noticed it mainly with my SRM's but PPC's as well as gauss. Nothing is more infurating than seeing some damn spider just absorb direct hits and take no damage. It seems to be the smaller mechs more than the bigger (Jenner, Commando) or just more noticible because you really have to focus your aim to hit them. I don't know maybe their profile needs to be a bit bigger.

It's completely stuffed. If there's something worse than always having to lead (pre-HSR), it's when it works inconsistently.

Melbourne, 250+ping.

I have around 60 ping usually and even I notice something off all the time as well, for lasers and ballistics. I think it started around a couple weeks ago or so.

Beings most of us have a ping of less than 200 it would be cool if they were able to "Force Ping" the game at 200. All the rest over there would be nothing we could do about but again I think most of us are under 200
