But naa, in all seriousness, we want good competition too. Which is why we aren't going to bother scrimming you until we smear your faces across the finals (if you make it that far). Feel free to drop in 8 mans, we've ran into each other a few times... those losses you forget about.. ya know.

OMG please don't use that example. That game was dead and only limps along like a zombie and not in a good zombie way. If you meant it as an example of how a terrible game will not die then I agree. It's hard for even a total crap game to completely die once it's gone to F2P. That game also has a band of hard core zealots who will be there til the servers shut down.

Wrong. We offered to come back Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. The only day we couldn't do was Monday because of our RHOD Championship Match vs. Steel Jaguar.

Your team is the one who couldn't (wouldn't) do the weekend.

You just wanted to say you beat Paragon in a competition match and you were willing to take that win any way you could get it. Too bad it didn't pan out. Better luck next time. Assuming there ever is a next time.

You'll need a new tactic though. The LMS rules have been changed to prevent teams from trying to force a forfeit in the fashion that you did when syncs fail that often. Good luck winning by traditional means.

True. I still like to go with my Founder Hunchback (gauss + 3ML). I'm good with it, too. But that's simply because it's my most played mech and I have tons of experience with it. ^^ But my YLW, Centurion 9A, Centurion 9AL and Hunchback 4SP are totally underused these days. :D I'd rather go with my Jagermech, Cataphract or Dragon.

I was skeptical about this but after checking my performance in the tourney on a whim, I'm starting to wonder.

I'm not in the top 50 or anything, but I'm a lot higher than I thought I'd be considering that I'm just screwing around.

Could it be that the percentage of MW:O players who sign up is very low?

Did most of the good players already leave/decide not to bother this time around?

our whole unit has pulled out of the game. it just lacks any real substance. i can't find a reason to come on and pilot a light anymore, i used to love it. my heart id truly broken over this mess of a game. and whats truly sad is when it goes down in flames. no one will touch mechwarrior ever again. we needed a triple AAA. we were promised a triple AAA. but were stuck with PGI's terrible resume, and their lack of vision when it comes to creating a varied and fun multi-player role warfare game.

this game should be all about units, but its all about pugs. and the pugs dont even have voice chat. it's 2013. TWENTY THIRTEEN.

and the hit reg that only ever gets worse. terrible.

a good dev team would have done things like this:

Make weapon stats that are balanced for a game with different mechanics than the TT game.

Dont reduce Performance by nearly 50% compared to closed beta.

Actually fix bugs and not bring new ones each update.

Add Content faster, not 1 mech each month and one map each 2-3 months.

pick an engine that actually supports the Speed the things ingame will move at.

make Balance changes more often and in small steps (mg is underpowered since the game is in closed beta)

use some Imagination to add something new, like ballistic weapns with 1 ton weight.


the list could go on forever.

all games bring new bugs with patches/bug fixes. If they fix the hit detection and boating i will be content for a couple more months
