Hello MechWarriors! I know many of you have asked for some images of the new Quickdraw, so I figured this would be a good place to put the first one in! Ricky got a great shot of one lifting off with it's jumpjets, and in a pretty awesome painscheme too. To me, this guy looks like the midpoint between a Commando and an Atlas - like a teenager version. It's been really fun to run around in this Mech, and I look forward to seeing you guys try it out (very soon, in fact!) Posted Image Also, we hope to see you in game this Friday for another twitch.tv event with the guys at NGNG! If you have requests for future shots, let us know! Cheers, The MechWarrior Online Team

Huh. Having a hard time seeing this guy as only ten tons heavier than a Trebuchet, he looks a lot bigger. The legs especially look very Steiner.

Do the antennas on it's head have a hitbox, and if so what sections do they count as?

definately didn't retain those slender legs from the concept lol

Could be the angle, but I don't think so, the feet are also bigger, and the torso. missile stations alot more chunky.

could also be the change in colours making it look fat

I think it's the angle, but we can't know for sure until we see it in the game.

Yea this thing looks like it'll be speed limited... why? Because those fat legs scream "LEG ME!" Throw in those huge Side torso's I see this machine with Std Engines unless you're a serial torso twister, which means that for higher speeds you're throwing alot of weight at it.

I really, really REALLY hope they'll buff SRM damage with it's release... A slightly bigger, slightly heavier Hunch 4SP with JJs? That is interesting... but if the SRMs stay the way they are... no thanks.

That's a severely fish-eyed screenshot. Compare the angle of the feet to the angles of the arms. Considering they're parallel, you can see it's quite distorted.

That said, it looks like it put on a touch of weight, but I'm okay with that. Nothing comes out of the 2d to 3d conversion perfectly intact.

the catapult did

lol but seriously it looks almost like the website mech info shots were done in a jump jetting pose.
theres no way the legs could be arched back like that and the mech not be falling backwards.

Touche! The catapult was stunningly close to the concept art, come to think of it.
