If A Hero Hunchback Was Released, How Do You Think It Would Be Configured ?

My ideal (but reasonable) hero Hunchback would probably involve 2 ballistic slots in the hunch, 1 energy in the head (as per usual), and 2 energy in each arm. A lot like an H, but with the hunch energy moved into arms.

If that can't happen, something unique would be nice. Maybe a hunchback with some CT energy slots (zombieback) or even something really weird like 2 CT ballistic slots for a pair of AC/2s and 3 energy in each arm.

i would like a hunch with 1 large laser on each side torso and 2 energy + 1 missile hardpoint in the hands.

the lasers in the torso should look a bit like cannons and they should look different depending on weapon changes.

would also be great to have the arms change depending on weapon loadout.

How I would want it...

A -4SP that double up on M harpoints and maybe drop a pair of E to be fair.. Maybe introduce a pair of B in the arms just to up the brawl:ability 2 mlas 2 MG 4 SRM4

Heck with the MG buff i'd take a normal -4SP the swap 2 E for B. It would be a crit.seeking monster.

It has to get something stocks don't have. I'd say arm mounted SRM's.

a hunchback with the Ultra AC on each side would look great with the 3 barrels per gun ;)

would be nice if the LBX would get something to make it look unique too.

Hero Hunch:
Arms, 2 ballistic in each. MG's
Head, one small laser
HUNCH, yes, giant hunch, it is iconic of the chassis: ERPPC, 2x small laser
Non hunch torso: NARC tube with launcher.
One ton MG ammo, one ton narc ammo in CT

Comes with dbl heat sinks, Standard engine big enough to suck up most of the leftover tonnage.
OR
no double heat sinks, but big engine, and ECM.

Results: Good speed, SL and MG for close range, ERPPC for long range. DHS for the ERPPC, or ECM to play to the very short range weapons and very long range weapons and NARC.

This thing would be customizable to fill scout roles(change SL to tag) brawler by dumping PPC and upgrading all the lasers, put a streak in the narc tube, etc. Add another PPC and dump the other stuff to make a hunchie sniper.

We have AC20 hunch, we have LRM20 hunch, we have OMGLASZER hunch. Ballistic arms and heavy Beam weapon hunch with minor missile aux. system we do not have.

Heres what i want to see.

Engine : Up to 275
Hunches Slightly smaller hunches on each side torso (but bigger than the 4SP)
Hard Points: 2 Ballistic, 2 Missile, 3 Energy.
Ballisitic in each hunch, Missile in each arm, and 2 Energy in CT and HD.

Base Loadout - 2 AC/2, 2 SSRM2, 3 ML

Oh, PGI should actually release 2 hero Hunchies- like the Fang and the Flame. Both should have a desert theme. One will be called Dromedary and have one hunch containing 2 of each type of weapon slot, 1 energy slot on the head, and an ams slot on the opposite torso.

The other will be called Bactrian and it will have two hunches, each of which has 1 of each type of weapon slot and an ams slot, with one energy slot in the torso.

Naturally both would be able to carry 400xl engines, and have arms that are large and rounded, like tower shields.

Oh this would be a sweet mech........ I worked it out from a 4J I use regularly that has two lrm-10s, dump one and shove a ultra ac/5. It would be like this highly mobile support package.

Double heat sinks, endo.

RA - TAG
RT - LRM10+artemis, Ultra-AC 5
CT - XL 260, AC AMMO
LT - BAP
LA - Medium Laser
Head - Medium Laser

RL- LRM AMMO, AC AMMO
LL- LRM AMMO, AC AMMO


Far as looks I wanted a hunchie in a ghillie suit.

I like the idea of a hero Hunchback. And they should be a tandem like Flame and Fang.

Here's what I would love to see:
1. Max engine at least 310.
2. 2 hunches - 1 for each torso like the 4SP. Hunches should be about half size of the 4H (not huge targets, but tall enough to make shoulder mount weaps viable).

Hero #1: Each hunch should contain 2 ballistic slots. Then put 1 energy in each arm and keep the head mounted energy.
Hero #2: Each hunch should contain 3 energy slots. Put 1 energy in each arm and the head and add a missile slot in CT.

3. Alter the armor limits. Lower the max on the legs by 9 each and arms by 5 each (total 28) and increase the side and center torso max values (sides plus 10 each and center 8). Make it a little safer for XL.

These variants would have enough hard point differences to distinguish them from the Hunchbacks already in game.
