Was just wondering for all of us that didnt get into the close beta if u or still going to buy the package and why

while I would love to get into the closed beta and try to break stuff, it has no bearing on purchasing a founders package in 2 weeks :-) money is in the bank waiting.

The question is do you think the founders package is a good deal. If so buy it, If not, wait and check out the game 1st.

I was planning to buy the founders package but i will not do that until they clarify how it will be for us non-NA players.

You might want to make that a possible answer for the poll also.

Yeah, I'm feeling the fanboy excitement enough to risk a little bit of cash on a beloved franchise. Piranha seem to know what they are doing and to be just as invested in the Battletech / Mechwarrior universe as the rest of us.

I just hope that they are savvy enough to realise that the non-US markets are actually bigger than the US and not make that same mistakes that many other companies make. I'm sure there are plenty of people here who have 1st hand experience of this problem and can relate to the sentiment. It gives me some hope that they're Canadian.

I am going to buy the pack, it's money well spend. You will get the chance only once and only for a short time... so why wait and see? If you have the money, want to support the devs, want to be competitive right from the start, or just consider it a good deal, I consider the package a must buy...

I agree that they need to money to make and improve the game. I have Jonse'd for MW5 or the next Mech game for TOO LONG!...and VOILA!

TAKE MY MONEY PLEASE! and a beta key would be awesome TOO!

Edit: I mean for $60 USD you get all the stuff AND Tons of IN Game currency with it...more than $60 worth!

Yeah this, can't say much more other then I'll wait till the last minute for more info about whats to come for non-NA players before spending money on the founders pack.

I would much rather try then buy, but realistically, if the game was just MechWarrior 5, I would have paid 60 bucks for it even before I tried it.

So I might as well pay the same 60 bucks, and get my money-generating Founder's mech, right?

i don't know if they made it clear on those selected for the beta what would happen if the game came out and the beta closed. not sure if you would lose it (as most games tend to troll) or keep it, along with your already bought/modified battlemechs.

Ideally, I want to get into the beta before buying the founder package, because I want to know which mech I enjoy playing most in MWO. Normally I'd take a catapult, but the atlas and jenner are tempting me, and I want to know which mech I prefer most before I get a money multiplier version of it.

If I don't get into the beta, I'll probably just chip in 30$ for beta access instead of the full 60$. (or I suppose I could grow a pair and just get the atlas and know that at least I'll be able to mechlab it all to hell if I don't like it's default loadout)
