I constantly crash to desktop. Constantly. 2/3 of my assault type matches end at desktop.

I understand this is Beta. Have you guys figured out what's wrong?

I haven't had a crash issue in months. Sorry man.

Have you put in a ticket to support@mwomercs.com? Tell them as many details as possible. They're usually pretty good at getting back to people with serious issues.

Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game? That has helped most people.

Also, check out the known issues forum, I'm sure people have workarounds and suggestions.

As a temporary fix, set your graphics settings to low (or at least lower them). That has solved my problems.

I hade to upgrade to survive against the hardcore running max graphics in sniper boats. Less money to invest in game but I do not crash very much anymore. Turning it down is an option but a deadly one. Just take any cash you would send PGI and put it into your machine. Maybe they would figure out the average player does not have the coin to invest in both and stop making it not who is the better player but who can afford the best gear.

There is some satisfaction to come up behind one of these snipers and find they cant brawl for beans.

Have you reinstalled the game between Late April / beginning of May and now? I had massive issues for a few days, reinstalled, and have not experienced a single CTD since

Once I switched to fullscreen mode from windowed mode I only crash 1 game in 4 instead of 75% of the time.

Ran the repair tool a lot. And that sometimes gets it down to 1 game out of 7 for a while.

I know it's still Beta but this is getting annoying. I'm not the kind of person that rage quits. But if I was I would have done so already. So now my game play goes like this. Play MWO until PGI decides I shouldn't (via the crash mechanism built into the game) then go play something else for a while. Come back after a few hours. Play a couple more matches. Crash. Quit for the day. Maybe I should just play the day after patch day. Still crashing? Ok. See you next wednesday then.

I had CTDs early on but I wiped my system, reinstalled everything clean and Ive had zero CTDs for months. I suggested the same thing to another guy and he also has not had any CTDs since.

I would suggest then that you try this option as painful as it is.

This game is pretty fast in booting which I like, so for me it would help alot if I could just rejoin a game after crash to windows. It would save me in 80% of the crashes.

Wonder if this feature is comming up in the horizon?

I have randomic crashes as well at the end of the mechs, with the program that halts, it's happening by a couple of patches.

Send a ticket to support if you haven't already, and your PC specs and dxdiag, along with your crashdump in the USER file. Thanks for the feedback!
