I think its totally ******** that the cn9-D is able to fit an engine this large considering the standard engine version weighs more than the mech itself. But here is my CN9-3L: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e9ca349b629843e I don't believe anyone has ever run this but Jesus Christ. This is like a massive, higher armor raven without ecm. Give me your thoughts.

EDIT: JOKE BUILD! Never actually going to run it and i sold my CN9-D and bought a Wang(much better mech IMO)

Expect to die a lot unless facing lights.
It looks like the Cent version of the TBT-5J I used to run.
You should free up 2 tons somewhere for 2MG. :)

You could use an extra ton of SSRM ammo. Switch to FF Armor and you can fit it just fine. Also, needs BAP.

I gotta say, as long as you insist on crazy, you might as well just go all the way with it and throw some MGs in there: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...aaaec1da9d8e4c4

Alternatively, you could pull out the mgs and ammo and put in bap to make sure your streaks can still get locks.

It's still not going to be as good as a raven, you are still slower, and much much bigger, so much easier to hit. Your side torsi are especially huge targets, bad for an xl.

Sold my D months ago, but I would take your build and drop the xl down until it could fit a bap and keep the machine guns, as they actually do things now unlike months ago.

No point to go past a 375xl with something like this CN9-D, maybe Artemis can be taken off since the tube-like actual trajectory.

Anyway, I gladly got rid of my CN9-D, Al and A are better (they have more hardpoints for lighter weapons, and a CN-9D should rely on ballistics that are too heavy without using a XL engine) and can run off without XLs that make you as resistant as paper.

If the op really wants to turn a 50 tonner to a light hunter/uber fast thing a TBT-3C is by far superior.

You forgot to mention the part where it actually has less firepower than a Raven 3L, which doesn't exactly have impressive firepower itself. I'd give this one a pass. Just being fast doesn't really accomplish much useful unless you can do something effective once you get where you're going.

Far better off with the TBT-3C

Same speed but 4 medium lasers and 2 SSRM2's

No reason to go past 375xl, except for the fact that the 380xl weighs the same amount. ;]

Thats just a bigger version of a Jenner D. Same weps, but smaller, faster and has JJs. I'd go with the Jenner any day!

I like using my Cent-D at 136kph as a scout in 8 man. Can scout effectively and stand up to the other teams scouts/light if you meet up. The more armor also makes it easier to survive and get back to support the team if spotted. Its trading firepower for lasting with similar speed.

edit: also it is so heat efficient you can carry an uav, deploy it and run for your team.

edit2: if you run this you can't go toe to toe or dance of death with heavies but can mess with them very well. Had a lrm w alot med stalker try to follow me tonight. After I killed a jenner 1v1. I lead him around till he was last and was dealt with fast. Just not by me and he took way to much time hunting me when I could had been making it rain.

I run something very similar quite often (called RabbitSlayer).

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...82e1dc7dd3aeecc

It actually makes a fun scout/anti-light, and loaded up with a cap accelerator, and either scout stuff (seismic/uav) or harassers (artillery/airstrikes) gives it a little more utility.

I'll have to respec it now that BAP makes the streaks more viable.

You're right, I've never went beyond a 360 xl so I didn't knew :)
