Although I hate playing online games with people with excessively high ping, for example seeing some dude from say Korea playing on a USEast server with a ping of 300+ trying to play BF3. Or a player from Brazil (I've noticed the majority of players from Brazil have huge lag issues on North American servers, just an observation). And yes I've played on foreign servers and lagged, but I tend to be mindful of my own internet connection and the quality of the server before I join. Im not trying to say hey these people cant play, but you should have a little common sense when picking a server/internet provider. No one wants to play with a lagger, however I dont think it should be regional based. I have several friends in other countries that I'd like to be able to play with without having to have multiple accounts or sign into a different server.

I agree with the OP.

Global accounts and regional severs(accessible regardless of one's actual location) are the only logical/fair/reasonable solution.
