So the current critical hitting system lets you destroy stuff within components that you have equipped at the moment. Why not have it so you can destroy components such as the arm actuators and the gyro etc. This could make it so you lose the ability to move your arms around, or if your gyro is knocked out, you mech will fall over when you run into other mechs (like how it used to be). crits on the cockpit could disable your hud and things like that.
just an idea, could be cool i think, thoughts?
edit: also when you target a mech the pilot should be informed about what parts are damaged so you can accurately assess your opponents weaknesses. I would kind of like the meta of this game to be an information war
