If it means taking a little bit of weight, then so be it.
I tire of getting pounded by 6-8 Assaults, so we adapt and bring 6-8 of our own. As long as others are doing it, I have no qualms about doing it myself.
(Now I am against any and all forms of hacking a cheating, but cheesing is not cheating)

As (IIRC, it`s been a while) Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi (Ninjutsu GrandMaster) once said at a seminar, "Your honor means nothing if you are dead. Live first and foremost , be honorable if you can."

considering tabletop you were unable to bring what you always want on the field, why is it any different here? The Table top BV match was set at $4000. Well guess what, you didnt get to go over.
The match maker doesnt work like that here, it happily puts a team together, and then grossly over powers the other team regularly. Which we have no control over.
That is a problem, whether you want to win or not. The idea that you should just do it back is quite possibly the worst idea anyone on this forum has ever said. Rather than make a better game, you rather turn the game into 1 mech and 1 gun.

Actually I use a wide variety of mechs, but everytime I decide or my teammates decide to bring an Atlas or some other Assault, I shouldn't have to put up with people whining, cause we are facing the same thing.
Again, as a Merc Corp Leader, winning takes priority.
Our contract holders deserve only the best.

Refusing to adapt to current trends is probably the most idiotic thing I've ever seen on this forum.

I often see the same... and I'm asking myself how can you create a matchmaker with elo without considering the tonnage? Tonnage should be a part of the teambalance... better sooner than later!

It's only when there are fast mediums or lights on the other team that things get tricky.

Killed it? Everytime we have 8 on and que we have no problem playing 10 or so back to back 8 vs 8's. Killed is a bit extreme don't ya think? We adapted to current trends and refuse to let such silly things like "Honor" stand in the way of victory.
I will say, we much rather kill than go for the cap, that is silly to cap and leave all those yummy c-bills and XP out on the field like that. In fact we've stopped capping to go kill off those last remaining 2-3 mechs trying to avoid us.

Odd, seems like every pug match I have had in last 2 weeks.
Because they wanted to stop facing the FOTM mechs. Nobody said they wanted to stop running FOTM mechs themselves.
