- How had the patch generally affected your performance?
- Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
- What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
- Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
- System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])
- Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location
Ping has returned to ~40ms which is what it was 6 weeks ago.
Video settings remain the same LOW everything off
SE CT
I can't give you FPS using F9 because that feature was turned off during this release! Do you people not even bother talking to each other? Reading your own patch notes? Seriously WTF!?

Promptly legged a Raven with an ERPPC!
I did, however, also notice the heavy rubber banding of a legged heavy mech. Looked really strange.

[*]How had the patch generally affected your performance?
There are a few issues with start up.
I can wait and enter the match up to four minutes at the longest after it has started, but that time someone was already shooting me and I just got to move a few feet before having my engine destroyed.
Then there is where I get into the match just as the list of players goes down. These I can play.
During play I can watch the clock stop got to the bathroom and have a smoke come back and still wait for the game to resume from the locked screen. Some times it comes back, but most of the time I do get to see the end screen, but by them most of the others have disconnected.
[*]Whether there are specific points in the game when your performance changes.
I can not specifically say at one point what happens, but at times my screen will freeze and if I am on the right map I will continue out of bounds, walk right into the other team and find out that I am being killed by listening or notice that for the last few minutes I have been running into an object that was blocking my path.
[*]What are your video settings, did you change them since last patch?
I have tried to run only with low or off setting. I have always received a message for an unsupported video card.
[*]Average FPS ingame and in the menus for previous patch and latest patch (Press F9 to see your FPS)
Before this patch I could get 8 to 12 FPS and before that 4 to 8 FPS. Now I can not tell (F9 function is disabled.) what the FPS is exactly, but I am having trouble placing the targeting on a stationary target with me moving. So most likely less than 4 FPS.
[*]System specs (You can include them in a [spoiler] [ /spoiler])
Win 7 home premium
Toshiba Satellite a505-S6005 laptop (the 6025 came with the nividia 310)
Processor Intel® CORE™ I3cpu M 330 @2.13GHz 2.13 GHz
Ram 4 GB
64 bit operating system
not sure what the graphic card is.
[*]Your advertised internet connection speed / Geographic location
Northeastern Pennsylvania and I feel that I am lucky to not have dial up. Supposedly we have high-speed internet.

post-patch: below 20 fps (estimated), mwo now drives my gpu (nvidia GT 330M) so hot that even in mechlab, the gpu hits 100 degrees Celsius.
and, seriously, press F9 to view fps? are you even kidding me?
this patch, compared to the previous ones, is really, really ********.

- The patch has negatively affected performance for me. FPS is very low, like watching a slide show. The game is barely playable and at times not playable.
- FPS decreases significantly when there are a lot of mechs on screen and lots of weapons being fired.
- I've reduced video settings from high to medium. This hasn't helped much if at all.
- Don't know. F9 doesn't work. But FPS noticeably decreased post-patch.

Framerate dropped again, Tourmaline next to unplayable, fast mechs very hard to hit with lasers ("micro-warping" because the FPS is too low -> no continuous movement; slideshow effect). FPS is about 30 average now (on Alpine, Frozen City too).
My system's bottleneck is most probably the CPU: testing grounds FPS is > 60, even with highest settings about 40-50 FPS and therefore more than on lowest settings during online matches. Settings don't really affect FPS in online matches if I set them to medium-high; lowering the resolution also doesn't help. Physical memory (RAM) is still plenty available, swap file deactivated (therefore cannot be a swap-related problem).
Basic specs:
CPU: Core2Quad Q9450
RAM: 4 GB DDR-2
Graphics: GTX460 (314.22 drivers)
OS: Win7 64-bit

Hits seem to reg better as a result, however, either weeks of bad ping have affected my aim, or there's still something wrong with hitting fast mechs consistently. Used to pop them with no issues using an AC20, now I can hardly hit them. They're hits on my screen, but no damage. Hopefully this is still being looked at.

No known problems regarding my system from ClosedBeta until last patch, which lowered my ping ~20ms, made hitregistration a bit more reliable but also throws me out of the game with "session lost" or " a network error occured" in maybe 3 out of 10 games.
I blame PGI, the NSA and GCHQ.
But only the first mentioned can do something about their end, so I am asking for someone to maybe take a look into it, as it is obnoxious as all hell randomly disconnecting from not only the game but also TS which somehow seem related to each other as I can play other multiplayer games (ArmA2+ACRE(a mod enabling TS to be transfered into the game as 3D-Sound)/ArmA3, CS:S,CS:GO) with or without TS very fine and for days (! no joke !) .

pretty much tallies with what I said, my reported ping is lower but I'm still having hit detection issues, particularly with SRM's. Given the amount of crap PGI get here I figured some positive feedback wouldn't go amiss, my ping is back to where it was before which is some kind of improvement.

I did 450 damage to a single atlas by dueling him the entire match, and somehow didnt kill him, despite doing most of it to an exposed CT. He finally managed to kill me after about four minutes through what I can only assume was HSR ******** of his own, despite continuously pumping 4mpl and 2mg into his gaping chest while he was overheated most of the time.
Ways MWO is like TT:
1: Half the time, your hits dont do any damage, or hit a random component.
Except... that isn't the model PGI was going for, so this canon accuracy is entirely due to poor coding and heavily overloaded servers.

This is the only change in performance I have noticed in the game. Keep up the good work.
