-Mechs too big for 60 tons. Jesus its huge
-I love how the 4G is obviously garbage compared to the other two and its only there to waste peoples time and make them fulfill the stupid 3 variant requirement for the pilot tree skills
-its an okay mech, just like the dragon, but also like the dragon it will only be useful in any way if we someday have weight based drops that arent full of PPC and Gauss boating assault/heavy mechs

So, right now? Its garbage.

Maybe some day a year from now when we have actual balanced weight drops and no PPC boats? Sort of okay I guess.

The 4G has more torso twist and arm movement than the other two. It's not garbage at all, hardpoints aint everything.

Visually this 60 ton is larger by far than the other 65 and 70 ton chassis we already have.

It looks like it weighs 75-80 tons based on volume. It should be the same size as a Jager, not tower over it...
Essentially, it looks silly moving about the field at 106 nearly the same size as a lumbering highlander.

It's currently the 3rd highest mech now, actually.

yep good job delaying the orion to change up the meta, wise call. Every game tonight pretty much had at least 2-3 ppc quickdraws in addition to the usual ppc stalkers and highlanders.

Don't forget the PPC dragons, phracts, and rs's, this game revolves around one weapon, what a joke.

Why does the 5K have Ferro-Fibrous, but not Endo-Steel?
Who decided that was a good idea, when ES is superior in every way?

Because FF is produced at higher rates, and has a better availability. It is also cheaper. ES is supposed to be rare and expensive. Which it just isn't in MWO, of course :D

Btw, I like the QKG so far.

However, I still think that it would have been a better idea to release the Kintaro or the Dervish first, since there are no 55t Mechs available in MWO at all, but the 60t-Dragon was already available.

Finally, I wanted to see how much I suck on this Mech, but it just isn't being displayed in my stats.

duel ppc quickdraws (arm mounted) suffers from misses due to convergence behind the enemy.

I love how the Quickdraw looks, and although I don't really have any issues with the loadouts, l had hoped for a little more diversity to separate the G from the H (extra couple of energy points on the arms instead anyone?).

The 'mech handles well (similar, if not identical to a dragon) and once the armour has been maximised, it functions well in a brawl, with the speed and maneuverability to quickly flank it's targets.

Unfortunately the issues I do have with the Quickdraw are severe enough to cause me to stop piloting it until these are resolved:

Firstly the scaling for this 'mech is just totally wrong. I had envisioned it being a dragon sized commando, not an atlas sized one. This makes it too easy a target for anyone with half an ounce of skill, as it doesn't have the armour to protect itself like the Highlander or Atlas do.

The second issue is either a bug, or a result of poor hitbox placement. Hits to the rear will almost always register on the front, and I find that the legs are larger than they should be.

Overall this is a good mech but its introduction has been marred by poor scaling, buggy hitboxes, lack of diversity and the fact that a large portion of the player base was expecting, and would have preferred, the introduction of the Orion (myself included).

yeah its the size of the highlander. kind of ridiculous. and with the amount of work they have to put into resizing the mech. you'd think they put in the 3s of effort to correctly size it the first time.

I need to say the QD needs another hard point, and needs to be much closer to the size of a centurion than the size of an Atlas, its just WAY too big.

Too big for a 60 tons mech, due to its big scale its too easy to head shot and leg him.

Gonna have to agree with everyone here. Its a good mech, and you can do well in it, but atm it is just too big. Scale it down a tad please.

I am almost done with basic on the 2 variants I have chosen to keep.

This mech is every bit as big as a Highlander. I know you refuse to believe your scaling of mechs is off across the board, but this one is for sure.

The leg hitboxes are too big. I have been getting legged an unusual amount in this mech.

Please bump SRM damage by at least 0.2-0.5 so that SRMs are useful on this mech.

I think it doesn't change the meta as stated, only encourages more boating and "poptarts". It is 15 tons too light, it isn't a well rounded hardpoint setup, not a single ballistic hardpoint. The first two variants are too similar to each other, even with the quirks. It has very little lore history and hardly as iconic as a certain other mech. All in all, a very poor choice of mech to release.
