I really want the system requirments to be revalved soon and hopefully before they release the Elite/Veteran Founder's Packages. People tell me to check the crysis 2 specs as they are on the same engine but I would rather have the offical specs before I make any judgement at all. My specs are

CPU: Intel Quad 9450 2.7ghz
Video: Sapphire Radeon HD 5450 1gb ddr3
RAM: 2GB (Very low for today I know)
Windows 7

Takes them time, they need to gather information on how the game is performing on the lower spec systems. It will come out soon I am sure.

I would say toss in 2 more GB of ram and you will probably be doing decent.

CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E4400 or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+
Memory 2 GB (3 GB for Vista)
Hard drive space 9 GB of free space
Graphics hardware NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB or ATi Radeon HD 3850 512 MB (DirectX 11 Compatible GPU for the DX11 Texture Pack)

Yeah they will publish the specs in time for launch Im sure.

Other CryEngine3 games are coming in around these minimum specs:
  • Microsoft Windows XP SP3
  • Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 2 GHz
  • 2 GB of RAM (3 GB for Vista/7)
  • NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB or ATi Radeon HD 3850 512 MB
  • 3 GB of free disk space
As Coffi said, invest in 2 to 4 more gb of RAM and you should be fine playing a CryEngine3 game at medium detail or better.

You're system looks adequite, except that it doesn't have nearly enough RAM. Windows 7 wants 2 gigs on it's own in some cases. Get it up to 4 and you'll be set. Newegg.com has it cheap, just make sure you know what you need.

For others who want system requirements in regards to system building:
Note that for Direct X 11 you'll have to be running Windows Vista or higher, Though if Direct X 11 is optional you'll still be able to play 10. I wouldn't build a Gaming rig these days with anything less than 4, though you don't need any more than 8 either. Far as GPUs, Nvidia GTX 460 and up are going to give you a good experience. Additionally, any i3 processor, and many lesser processors, such as old Core 2s, should be more than adequite as the game won't be including any intense AI. I'm not so familiar with the AMD and Radeon equivelants I'm afriad, but a decent rig running intel and Nvidia can be made for ~600, so I figure the same could be had on AMD Radeon for the same, if not less. If you don't have money for a new rig, just upping the GPU can go a long way ~$100-$150 there.

Go to Can I Run IT from the drop down menu select Crysis 2 it will show you if your computer can run run the game and what you need to improve.

Crysis 2 and MW:O both use CryEngine3 so if you can run Crysis 2 then MW:O should not be a problem.

Exactly. MWO can't go past that except on the amount of RAM and VRAM. But i don't think it will.

It's pretty common to not have system requirements yet. On top of that they are never fully set in concrete until the box ships so to speak.

The OP needs a new video card. A radeon 5450 is an HTPC video card. Its ment for steaming HD movies / content / bluray ect..

But I will add that if he's only playing @ 1024x768 or maybe if he's lucky 1280x720 with no Image quality enhancements he'll probably be fine.

They wait until they are sure what they want to say are the official specs so that they don't have to revise them over and over. (was quoting cause i agree with you)

Thanks for posting. Bought a new machine to get a better performance out of WoT about 6-8 months ago. I'd be pissed if it couldn't handle this game.

Processor AMD Phenom™ II X6 1090T Processor, 3200 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 6 Logical Processor(s)

Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 8.00 GB

Adapter Description NVIDIA GeForce GT 530

Adapter RAM (2,147,483,648) bytes

So it ought to be good.

Most betas I've been it had no system requirements posted for their betas, and the ones that did, gave beta-specific ones (after signing the nda).

That being said, there should still be lots of debug stuff in the code, and generally no performance optimization whatsoever, so they'd have to be higher than the final ones. And given the nature of the internets, giving out these (temporary) infos would probably be taken as final, with the obvious shitstorm following ;D
