It looks much better. Thank you. I'd love to see a similar improvement to frozen city (darkening the ground textures, made caustic much easier on the eyes).

This thread should be stickied.

The improvements to Caustic Valley are tremendous. Excellent job.

If you are referring to the buildings going gray, a re-install fixed this problem for me. I haven't had it in a couple months now. Try the repair tool. If it's not that, then I'm unaware of any other texture issues, other than the brightness of the terrain.

Way to bright and ugly. prefered the greenish version by far. this map climbed down my personal rating list from 2nd place right down to the bottomless pit of snowstormmadness. two friends in TS did not seem amused either. for mee it is a lot harder on the eyes then before.

Thank you for making this thread. I came to praise the new look but then there wasn't an official feedback for it!

I'll have to remember to take screenshots. The new Caustic Valley is beautiful (except the Hillside spawn; it doesn't look all that much different thanks to the shade and color of the hill).

I love the new look.

Not yet Blade, but I think that is in the works along with the ability to vote on the next map.

I honestly wish I could see the changes but PGI has still left maps like toumaline and canyons on an increased chance of getting that map so sadly I cant even provide PGI with constructive feedback on those changes.
