Join date, number of posts, likes, etc. don't make you a better MW fan, nor tester.

The majority of people who have been supporting and watching and waiting for this game to go live have been stuck waiting with a giant yellow pending yet people who barely know what the name Mechwarrior ever referred too get full access right off the bat.
I understand that they wanted to see what the learning curve was could have gotten that information alot easier then denying the people who have supported the Mechwarrior community for well over a decade.
Personally I am sick and tired of waiting for the game devs to finally come out with "ok the game is ready to go sorry we didn't take any input from the true fans of the game but instead used a bunch of newb hampsters as a testring platform."
Personally I think i am going to go play something else for the next 6 months and show as much interest in playing and supporting this game as they have shown in allowing true Mechwarrior fans to play and be a part of creating Mechwarrior online.
Pardon me, but you are calling people out for not supporting the game and you have 2 posts? Seems a bit hypocritical don't you think?

I don't quite understand how people have come to the conclusion that they are focusing on new players as opposed to old fans as well.

That is simply a misconception on your part. Nobody is getting favor in the invites based on being "more noticeable." It is random. The only factor that has been stated to matter is completion of the BETA profile to 100%.

Apologies, but how do you know this if they're under NDA and not allowed to talk about closed beta? Source?

I bet he's the same guy with a new account that's been posting troll posts in the forums for the last few days.

I don't even have an internet connection from home right now, everyone I live with just ended up unemployed out of thin air and I've done less whining.

By the way, for those of you who are angry about not getting into the Beta, suck it up, because I'm not angry and I've been here from the beginning. Would I like to check the game out? Yes, I would love to pick out all the minutiae that's NOT BattleTech and give it to the developers. Am I angry about it? No, because I understand why I'm not yet in beta, and I'm honestly fine with it. I will wait my turn to kick all your butts, hehe. j/k

Because sadly many people don't value their word at all? I don't know why they let it out so easily. But they do. Most of them don't share any of the actual content of the testing... But few seem to be worried about keeping their acceptance a secret.
