My first pug was pitting against your typical d-bag PPC boaters but I was use to them being evaporated before the armor on my Jager was molten. Instead when I turned my brave little Cicada's head and reared back in the face of the enemy, one blue streak is all it took per limb and it left me thinking...

For a balance tweak how about making PPCs have a chance to explode like ammo? We need something to fight back against the boaters who are constantly serving up hot plates of fagetti.

Is it your first time in a light? A Cicada is really a heavy-light, if that makes sense. Never "rear back in the face of an enemy" in a light mech. What you want to do is "face the rear of an enemy". The only time I purposefully drive in front of a heavy is if I think I can scoot by before he can aim at me or he's cored and red and I think I MIGHT have a shot at finishing him off on the driveby.

You have the speed to flank. Flank, flank, flank and savour those lovely backshots. As they turn towards you, skedaddle.

My spider feels more durable with half the armor. Maybe it's a hitbox thing.

Very well could be part of it. Spiders are hard to hit. "You so skeeeeny!"

Cicada is quite a bit larger, yes. Probably going to have to adjust your playstyle to adjust for that.

I've tried cicadas before. Have to admit I didn't like them. Simply because they all but one don't have arms. But they are pretty nimble if you manage to get close to heavy/assault, yet can do nothing against lights like jenners

When you're in a Cicada (or any other fast mech) just pretend that you're Bugs Bunny (or Daffy Duck in his more successful appearances) and the other guy is Elmer Fudd.

Isn't the OP the same guy who was saying that MG's were good weapons?

I consider myself a casual player but ask Sephlock. Had 3 KBs in my Spider K this morning with him. :D
