as it stands right now the winning team is what ever one is the hevest unles there is a lance of lights to cap.

Agreed - the ubiquitous 6 Stalker or Atlas drops, all packing PPCs is tedious to the point of giving up on MWO.

Personally I feel the builds that are designed to 1 shot any mech lighter then a heavy will destroy the game. People are already frustrated and dropping into a game, getting one shot, and then waiting for you mech to be released is going to drive people away. Stalkers have already compensated for the 5+ weapon nerf by adding a gauss instead, so it will only really hurt the medium swaybacks and as far has been released it won't affect the splatcats...

If anything, you can tell the state of the game by how many log back on just for the Heavy vs World event. Most Assaults are going for alpha builds, and the rest of the builds really show the versatility is overrated (which is horrible in non-team matches).

Why call it matchmaking when there clearly is none at all?

And please stop those stupid challenges that only support high alpha 4man teams until

1) you found a solution to replace disconnected players
2) you found a solution to the current high alpha build situation, not calling it a problem yet, only cause they keep missing me in my Jenner most of the times
3) you fixed the matchmaker that is currently killing the buzz at around 80% of all games with either too big weight/class differences on each sides, or 75% trial mechs vs. 4man+4man and stuff like that
4) 3 people on my friends list wake up...

Anyways, at the current state the matchmaker is the worst of all matchmakers since late february.

yea even tho people were more hostile against bringing mediums to a lance ,

, personally i think old weight balancing matchmaker was leagues better but i suppose ELO did help the new guys not get stomped by 4/four mans all the time

Sometimes I have seen in Conquest a team with No Lights or No Assaults, the opposing team gets them though.

How about 1 team of nothing but Mediums and Heavies vs a Team with Assaults and Lights? Seen it several times.

Biggest pain in Conquest a team of Mediums and Heavies focusing on fast Mechs (lots of Quickdraws, Dragons, 50 tonners) that can outrun the enemy yet they try slugging it out, result instant death.

I would also like that if one side gets ECM the other side get it as well. ECM way to powerful as it currently set up. Atlas getting within 200 meters and not a blip on the scanner?! ECM should not be able to block out sensors at all ranges. At 100 meters or less it should be scrambling the sensors on a mech IMO.

How is ECM overpowered? Have you been playing for less than 5 months or something?

ECM is underpowered now with all of the countermeasures, friendlies no longer disappearing from radar and the decreased ECM range. No one even bothers to carry tag anymore. ECM also is rarely used because it's ineffective.

In previous games ECM was effective outside 450 meters; but only hid the one unit from radar.
