Does Premium Time need more transparancy & user-friendliness "in-game"?

Why is it that Premium Time starts automatically when purchased?

The other day I started my 24hrs Premium Time so I could grind through a chassis. Once it was over a few minutes ago I purchased the 3 day PT because of the sale in the hopes that I could save it for later. Nope! 2.99 days of PT left with no start button- it just automatically started.

The lack of transparency has me a little perturbed. This is not how I was thinking my money was being spent.

Yeah it would be great if you could start it and pause it. If I could do this, I would buy some.
