Before bf4 comes out and I loose interest in this ******** community, ill say what needs to be said. Look at all these posts about game balaces. Buff this, nerf that. This is fine etc. This is perfectly fine, except majority of people complaining are not competant players. Lets just face it. There are people better then you. Yes, he just shot you down with X. What do people do? "Omg X is op!" Along with very well thought and written essay. Then comes along with "l2p nub" and debating essays how I am right and you are wrong. Then pgi decides to listen these fools and make the game even more ******** then it already is. From what I see, this seem to happen throughout the entire time I played the game. Solution? Just stop complaining on the foru ms with your scholar like debates. Play the game, get better, and move your way up. So thats pretty much it. You can flame me all you like. I have nothing to loose O yes, only reason why I visit this forum is becaus...... well its funny to read all the stupidity. Pure comedy
You claim to have seen everything but your words run hollow. If PGI actually listened to half what the community has been saying, we wouldn't have current broken ECM, useless SRM and LBX etc... Most of the mess made by PGI was due to their own faulty (and slooooow) balancing, not our feedbacks.
And stop with your "everything is balanced, just get better" attitude. Without the community feedbacks (that you call whines), PGI wouldn't have fixed all those broken builds (from the old Splatcats to more recently, the poptarts) that made this game less enjoyable to the majority. Mechanics such as instant pin-point big alphas are not only game balance problem, it also ruins the level of fun and immersion the game can achieve. Currently all we see are PPC boats--on all class of mechs.
8-man wh0ring "elites" might feel ok with min/maxing whatever is FoTM to victory but the overwhelming majority of the players of MWO just want to have fun playing this game.
MWO game problems do not lie with the community--they lie with PGI. Always has been. And people don't have to be "competent" (learn to spell, will ya?) or competitive to point out the faults or submit good ideas. Angry Joe didn't need to be in the X-Box One dev team to see that DRM will be a bust. I don't need to be a competent player to know that Large Pulse Laser change made it even worse pick.
