I have noticed for some time now that I can dual AC/20 fire at the same spot on a mech and it does more damage then my 5 large pulse lasors at the same spot and build. I have a 29-30 ping and i'll notice that i can dish out 150 to the back of spider and it won't even go red.

My first reaction is that range is factor... since the AC20, despite having less "optimal range" holds up far better because of the ballistic max range formula.

Spiders are currently bugged. I legged one that alpha'd him in the face 4 times with 4 large lasers and his armor didn't even turn red. He still had yellow torso armor. Bugged.

Spiders are not bugged. They just happen to benefit from the weakened HSR/netcode combo.

Th pulses have to stay on target for 0.75sec, which is harder than it sounds when you and/or the target is moving, especially for tiny mechs like the spider.
For some time now I've had suspicion that when a laser transits across the boundary between two hit locations damage is lost.

This was in testing ground. They were shot at the basic same range each time. I also found the Cent CN9-A joint in between the legs and lower torso on each side have lasers that pass right through but my AC's do damage.

Stoic, stop being the tuhrd of the community. The game is still in beta so post what you find and stop being in that half of the community that makes the top half possible. For anyone else please post what you find or anything I else I can look in to so I can narrow this down. Thanks.

You will need to replicate those findings in a match and not the training ground, and provide pictures/video capture as well.

I could care less about gathering evidence you. Stoic, your a nobody. They only people that get to see it are the devs with the ticket cause they are the only ones that can fix it. If you ain't having the issue then move on otherwise all your doing is trolling. I went to the testing ground after seeing something like that in several games. People don't tend to help test anything during a game even if it is beta. This is a post to find out if anyone else has noticed anything similar.

Spiders' hitboxes are bugged, it's a know fact.

Hit registration sucks on all mechs regardless of weapons, and it's especially bad on Spiders because of their bugged hitboxes.

I had to alpha a stationnary (legged) Spider 4 times with 4LPL+1AC20 (RS) before it died. All red crosshairs, all direct hits. No registration/ridiculous damage spread.

Psssst... training grounds are totally broken, that's why people are laughing at your posts and telling you not to go there.
