FLS/HV-1 Flashman

Description
The Flashman is a underrated heavy 'Mech, commonly called a "flashbulb" by MechWarriors for its heavy-energy configuration. The Flashman, which was first introduced in 2701, is a 'Mech that is capable of engaging an enemy for extended periods of time with little re-supply. This made it one of the most prized 'Mechs in a commander's arsenal during the Star League and saw heavy use by line regiments, typically in a "fire brigade" role for heavy and assault lances. During advances it would stay to the rear to protect against ambushes and provide fire support for its lancemates.
Fewer than 500 Flashmen were operational at the start of the First Succession War, where their heavy use on the front line saw many destroyed. Production of the design abruptly stopped in 2796 when Renault-Prime Industries was destroyed, though Defiance Industries would pick it up and produced a downgraded version at their Hesperus II plant.
Armament
The primary weapons on the Flashman are three (two?) Selitex Radonic Large Lasers, these give the 'Mech a respectable punch out to a range of 450 meters. The back up weapons to this are five Ichiba 3000 Medium Lasers, one of which is mounted in the rear of the 'Mech to provide short to medium range protection. The Flashman also carries a Buzzsaw Anti-Missile System to defend against missile attacks and a Zippo Mark X Anti-Personnel Flamer to deter infantry attacks.

Nice....although I gotta read topics more clearly. When I saw it, I thought it looked more like a Flashman than a Thug...then I read the topic again. Duh!
It is well done!

Amazing concept.
Words cannot describe how much I want this to be a thing. Dem blocking arms.

Best mech you could get in the old Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries game. I always went for that mech and kicked ***.

If you deviate from the art just enough, suddenly dogs become beauty queens.
I approve of this re-design.

second best.
I metaraped the game with an Assassin like nobodies business. dropped 2 JJ, swapped the SRM2 for a second LRM 5 and another ton of ammo. Then I would just stay at max range and backpedal the heck out of them. I smoked Stalkers and stuff nonstop.
