No. Founder's and their perks were clearly listed.
It never claimed to give you unlimited access to anything cool they ever made for the rest of the game's lifespan.

Nope. New promotion, not a continuation of the Founders program.

Certainly no. It would be nice though if Founders' Mechs would get the same 30% income boost as everything else.

I agree with the above statements, it is entirely two different promotions.
I am however VERY displeased that Founders are getting the shaft. This promo gives you more bang for the buck and the original Founders package gave you half of what this promo is.
PGI continues and continues to shaft the people who got them where they are today. Not to mention that we Founders are STILL here after all of the b.s. and now...this. What a complete slap in the face.

founders got closed beta access, the value is debatable granted, but I can guarantee MechWarrior fans were foaming at the mouth to get in.

What shaft, the $80 in mc and 4 founders mechs to start the game with, premium time that was reset, still keeping the benefits of that time and closed beta access was a shaft? Then I say shaft me again!

I also would say no.While I fully intend to buy this package as well, this allows people who were unable to buy the Founders package something they can get behind and call their own. I feel I got my moneys worth on the first pass.

The founder's packages gave you more flexibility - $120 for 20,000 MC which usually go for $80, 90 days of premium time, beta access and four quasi-hero mechs.

Those 20,000 MC could be spent on anything you want. The Project Phoenix packages are good value, but the value drops sharply once you don't care about a certain chassis or the standard variants.

I don't think we should without paying for it. One of the things I never liked about founders/preorder programs is that you are screwed on the little perks if you find the game after launch. I've been in that boat. This gives closed beta players thier own perks that are visually different than our own.

the only thing i might rant about maybe
is that founders mechs should get a tiny
loyalist bonus too :)
else iam totally happy with
the changes they already made
they just need to remove PPCwarrior online
and iam all happy

Hell yes! of course!

after you pay for them, why shouldn't you get them like the others, only because you bought the first package? There should be no limitation how many packages you may buy.

For all the founders complaining that the founders package contents pale in comparison to the Phoenix package contents, they are leaving out one thing.

Lots of founders (like me) paid for founders to get into the closed beta so we could play the game several months early. That was a huge value for me. I played almost 1000 matches I would otherwise not have got to play.

No, they should not give us PP Mech(s) for free.

But it might be a nice gesture to throw us a bone for the Founder's Mechs being generally ***** compared to both Hero and Pheonix mechs.

I'd appreciate having that Faction Loyalty bonus applied to the Founder mechs (cuz really, how loyal do you have to be to still be hitting the field in those??), but other than that, I say nope.
