Please allow chainfired autocannons in single weapon group to be fired as fast as user press fire button.

Currently only macro users can achieve maximum fire rate.

So, make chainfire automatically calculate the optimal firing delay based on the weapons in that group to make macros unnecessary? Yeah, sounds good.

I don't get this, I click fast, my AC fire faster than holding it down.... I actually doubt most of the fast firing ac out there are using a macro... hell, I fast fire chains of ML like they are on rapid fire by just....wait for it, clicking FAST! Click, Click, click.... no real science here. Try it.

Try JagerMech 6xAC2 build in chainfire.

You can click as fast as you can, but you will not get even a 2/3 of the maximum firerate.

PGI fixed chainfire for lasers and PPCs, and you can fast fire them, but not for autocannons.

AC chaining is being delayed by something.

I just create two groups and hold both buttons down a fraction of a second apart. Works fine.

The good news is that three AC/5's in chainfire already fire almost perfectly just holding the key down :D Someone actually thought I was using a macro, but this time it wasn't needed!

I have been bombarded by macro ACs, and I confess, I've tried multiple ACs with a macro; there is no real advantage, and all the QQing about it baffles me, there are much more pressing issues (the matchmaker, *wink *wink)...anyway, I don't see why not, I can do it with my quad LL RS; provided it operates like a semi-automatic weapon, firing as fast as you can click the button, not hold it down and it does it for you.
