The following is a transcription of a call to arms by Hauptmann-General DarkKnight ST, 23rd Arcturan Guards to his XO, calling up all active and inactive members for duties unknown. This call will bring another FedCom Regimental Combat Team to full readiness. While their intentions and duties are unknown, it will be good to note the potential changes in the Order of Battle for the Tamar Theater.

~S~ General, I hope this finds you well, and that your light duty has been filled with activities other than filing reports, and dealing with the tedious drama of soldiers at endless guard duty. I can’t say that I am disappointed that we are finally going to gather the entire RCT back together for these War Games (see attached). I would hope that this isn’t a politically motivated move, as our unit has grown too complacent. Their scores have been falling, where before we were in competition with elite units. Those were heady times, eh?
As alluded to, we are gathering EVERYONE, even the reserves for our war games. New equipment will also be issued, and the green troops can finally get an idea what it is like to move as such a massive, cohesive unit. This informal note will soon be followed by official summons orders from the higher ups, but I figured you’d appreciate a few days warning, should Comstar not dally around in delivering this message.
One thing to note: we have set up a new network to gather, organize, and direct our men and women to their muster points, including information on interstellar transport. While we wait for the official orders for the war games to begin, I want our mechwarriors to be trained on the latest gear in lance tactics and company tactics. The lance is the very core unit in all mech companies, and I’m going to put you in charge of their overall training and readiness. When these war games begin, I want our unit to SHINE, and if we can get the lances working together perfectly, the discipline will go up the ranks and maybe even shake the tail feathers of the noble peacocks who keep getting assigned to us for their chance to call themselves veterans… We both know that story…
The code our soldiers will use to access this new RCT networks is http://forum.housesteiner.com/ . Get this out to EVERYONE, use whatever resources necessary, and authorize recruitment of new replacements. I’m sure we will find more than a few out of contact, or have had changes in their lives preventing them from re-enlisting/joining. You are authorized to petition veteran mechwarriors from other units at your discretion, provided it does not conflict with their loyalties to other Houses or factions.
We need to rebuild FAST. We have the resources and the networks to do it. We have official channels in the site provided above, included some great new communication equipment in the form of an experimental program called ‘Teamspeak.’

The 23rd Arcturan Guards is one of a network of House Steiner LCAF forces, and affiliated Mercenary Companies and Lone Wolves. House Steiner - LCAF is headed up by 14 YEAR Mechwarrior veterans, from the days of AOL to the present, where we currently use the free version of MW4 mercs as a method of tactical and unit training in anticipation of having a solid, cohesive unit by the time MWO is launched.
