I have seen this build several times before, I think the first time was on forest colony. I was in my 3L and started to move in for the attack while our relatively fresh Jenner on our side was attacking the 8Q. It ripped our Jenner apart, and when the target data finely showed what it was packing, I then turned my 4ss around going " nope nope nope."

It is indeed a hot build, but when played correctly its a monster.

Same here. I play a few hours most days and a heck of a lot more on weekends. So far I have been pretty happy with this game. Not that there aren't things that need to get better. It's just I've waited so long for someone to do a MechWarrior game again I can't help but smile a little each time I launch a match.

Why stop there? You can also blame PGI for not having a fully stocked fridge in arms reach right next to your computer. Remember, it gets very hot in those mechs and nothing cools a mechwarrior faster or better then a ice cold beer.

Like wise, as long as I drop with my Merc unit friends I always have a fun time, even if I do some times get frustrated by the stupid meta we currently have, at least playing with friends makes it fun and tolerable for the most part. I always imagine what the game would be like with weapon balance and dropping with my buds which causes me to get all giddy and excited like a school girl when I do.

I was there... til PPCs took over and sniping became everything. Nightmares of MW 4 pervade my thoughts. A year of offering suggestions and none of them being followed (instead asinine ideas are put in) has taken its toll. I can't find the will to slog through the game right now.

In fact, I've taken up Chivalry: Medieval Warfare because it at least has a really good dueling system with intricate and deep combat.

Mechwarrior was always about dueling, anyways. At least, in years gone by.
