It does to me. Maybe it's just the angle, but I swear I thought I was look at Squidward at first.

battlemaster always had a large glass looking canopy. the only difference is the new artwork has it more squared, where the original one was more rounded looking(like a fighter jet cockpit)

the overall shape is very blocky in my opinion

Oh ffs, now I cant unsee it. The grayish panels form the shape of (and have the same color as) squidward's nose.

I love most if the new design, but I am disappointed in the canopy.

It is too small, and not bubble shaped!

A battlemaster should have a bubble cockpit, and while this looks good we need that bubble, the rest looks great.

Yeah, the Battlemaster cockpit is ''iconic''. I don't think it has been captured adequately in the present art.
