This doesn't make sense...
True, it's a mod, but first is a total conversion one. So actually is a true stand-alone, because it only uses the engine of the original game...And if you don't want to buy the game, you can use the demo version.
Second, there is no risk to breaking your game, because it does NOT modify anything. It just add new stuff.
I have this installed, but i can play also Crysis Wars without any problems...

Yeah. My ping is 150 on there and I get all sorts of warping.
Same for me, on the Official...
But most of the players who play this game now are European, where the CJW server is located, so that's why we always play there...

There are a few key differences in terms of balancing between MWO and MWLL, as you rightly pointed out, MWO has tried to stay as true to the TT as possible and MWLL had no allusions to being close to the table top, but it also must be taken into account that because MWLL has no mechlab it does not have the variability of MWO and the devs could tweak individual mech variants to better balance them. Now, one might also argue that that despite the mechlab MWLL has more viable/competative mech builds, i think probably due to the current balancing problems in MWO.
But it is worth saying, in prepertion for their own mechlab, all mechs were made to obey MWLLs own build rules
One of the big things that I took away from playing MWLL again was the pacing. The mechs would not stop on a dime, even if you held the brakes there was still a fair bit of interia, also weapons take a serious time to reload. In MWO you are heat limited and in MWLL you are more reload limited in terms of rate of fire. I think this works well on matches that can last in excess of an hour on MWLL, and the fast pacing, slightly more "twitch" style suits the current "hot drop" gameplay of MWO (see 20/20 cricket), however I really would like to see longer games with more objectives and perhaps the ability to repair in MWO.

You didn't read my first post did you? I have created an installer that will install a trial of Crysis Wars and MWLL all in one go, no full game required. Get it here

Yes, This is what I have been having to do but a launcher that works would be nice. I think it's because I changed the default directory and even after a uninstall and reinstall to the default dir it still crashes. Bad Reg entry maybe? I'm not going to waste the time to debug it.

That's your problem!
Anyway, may be you didn't read my post.
This doesn't make sense, because Gouty packed up CW trial version and MWLL 0.7.1 in one simple install package.
Very simple. You run it, and you are ready to play.
If you simply don't want to download it because it is a "mod", that's your problem. I don't care.

Nada (I already run it as admin and forced it anyway), I may sign up to their site but I just don't have the time to deal with it. I've read that thread and alot of the site already.

Sorry, at this point I don't know how to help...sometimes I got crashes too, but I simply restart the game and then it works...
And don't forget that, because this mod is so big, the game takes time to load it...10-30 seconds, depending on your hardware...

This is not the only reason...AFAIK, Criminal and Kamikaze (the founders of Wandering Samurai) worked for Crytek...PGI is a Crytek customer, so I think that also Crytek *asked* them to stop...Conflict of interests, it's simple...
