Per Bryan Ekman 12V12 Is First Patch In July - Is This Still The Case?

Bryan Ekman right there in his June Creative Director Update says a the bottom of his post, and I quote:

12 v 12 is due out for first patch in July

So, is this another deadline missed, or are we getting our 12 mans July 2nd? Per Garth here, https://twitter.com/...584295339364352 the next patch is the 2nd, not sure where people are getting the 9th. So, yeah, when is the next patch, and are they going to give us our 12 mans or what?!?!?!

Inquiring minds want to know...

If it is, it better not continue this awful craptacular hitreg code.. because raging over 12v12 is easy enough to do when you "miss" your shots at pointblank range.

I hope the inclusion of 12vs12 means being able to have more than 4 people in a group. getting an 8 man together when you have 5-7 players is a minigame in itself. not to mention that 8 man games are the most difficult and intense out of them all.

Russ said in the NGNG podcast that came out a couple of days ago that 12v12 is hitting the private servers within a couple of days and to expect it for the second patch of July if everything goes well.

I cannot wait to try and fit 24 people in the caves on frozen and forest.

Edit: Ah, now it's coming on the second patch. Second patch week rolls around, I'm guessing we will be told to expect it "after launch."

12v12 might actually sort out a large number of the issues we face at the moment with stacked teams.


also, if the two patches we get this month are flops i guess i won't have a good reason to spend money ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

The key word there is DUE, he did also say there was some internal testing and possible tweaks yet.

In March they said "less than 60 days" and May came and went with no 12v12.

He also said public server was in June and that did not happen....

and they said CW Phase 1 in June as recently as March so....

Not.

I applaud your optimism, that you think the head staff of PGI actually communicate with each other, and get facts correct, before, telling things to their chums at interviews, or say things on twitter, or face book

Edit:

I'll be more than happy if they manage to bring out just the Victor on tuesday, any game changes or balancing that actually works will just be the iceing on the cake.
