If I Had To Rate Pgi's Preformance For Gameplay And Balance In Mwo For June, They Would Get A 2/10

Sorry but running the same AC boats bored me to tears months ago, and everything else is so laughingly underpowered I can't simply "have fun" building whatever old mechs anymore. A hard line in the sand has been drawn on effectiveness and EVERY, yes EVERY match being a steamroll one way or the other is exposing it for the ugly unfinished product MWO is.
Populations are shrinking, content is recycling instead of evolving, and its time for another month break to let them sort this mess out. So far PGI has managed to not suck a total of 2 months this year. Thank god we're not paying for this.

Don't get me wrong there definately are a few things that need so work but overall balance is decent and gameplay is alot of fun.

Yep, they definately deserve a 1.8/10.
Let me know when they finally get Mgun, flamers, heatscale, and LBX's working right. So...another good 8 months? I'm sure that should be enough time for PGI. Its been 1 year and so far the machine gun is only halfway there. Another year from now and the Mgun might be barely viable.

Being a mostly light or small medium pilot, some games you do well, next game some one gets 1 shot on you-game over= no fun. Sorry, but the hide and snipe meta is just flat out boring. If I want to hide and snipe I will play BF. There really is no flow anymore, just a bunch of camping because first person to stick their head up gets 10 PPCs and 4 Gausses to the face. I really want to have a reason to buy the Phoenix pack, but I really doubt I will be playing this game come Oct. unless they do something, and I have no clue what will fix this problem, and I noticed about 1/2 or better of my clan no longer plays- with more quitting all the time.
Hope some sort of balance is found or this game wont make it until the clan stuff is coming out. \
just my 2 cents worth

LOL.
I've rediscoverd a love of my Founder's Atlas in solo dropping as a pug. It's such a boat, 2 Large Lasers, 2 SRM4's, 2 Mlas and the oddly placed AC20. I mean, yeah, I'm wildly abusing convergence with my arm mounted LLas and I HATE when the awful convergence system causes them to cross up and miss that little Jenny or Raven I'm shooting.
TL:DR your perceptions are your own, but your claims are not supported by fact.

All your issues are based on your opinion. MGs seem fine right now considering they aren't even suppose to be an Anti-mech weapon. Flamers have always been of limited use even in lore. Heatscale isn't too bad although I still think DHS should be at least 1.6, not 1.4 heat disapation and the LBX is fine as a extremely short range shot gun type weapon (though I would love to see them implement the dual ammo feature).

yeah, I run into the same issue on my PPC mounted QD. I can't count the times my PPCs converge all screwy like at close range. Seems like the sight is calibrated for them to meet at around 500m (which makes sense) and the closer a target gets the more off my sights are.

3 is a magic #
It's been 3 months since the meta changed to favor PPC...
MG would probably need a 3rd tweak (COF reduction or removal) before they are viable.
LRM changes were recent and seem OK
Most other crap weapons are still crap.
SRMs are still in a crippled state.
3 PPC limit will be the "new meta".
3 more months til the beta tag is released.
3 more months of the "new meta", because the fix does very little to the current one.
There, I summed it up in like 3 minutes.

General Trend dictates that the feature will
1) Be broken on arrival
2) Not be present at all. (possibly delayed by X months)
And there's also the upcoming 2 Gauss + 2 PPC Victor that will have the armor and tonnage to handle it.
I for one welcome our new Victor overlords...

The only good news is that both projectiles don't travel with the same speed, so an alpha on a moving target is not really an option. The peek & alpha gameplay however will be alive and kicking.
