Its objective:
Tag the enemy to death.
If I had another hardpoint, I'd gladly put TAG on it for maximum trollage. As it stands, the flamer is the key to the build (seriously).

On the bright side, I didn't run into you or light pilots like you, so I can't complain too much. My biggest challenge from a light was the Spider duel I had with Mr. Buckton.

(Nup, lots of ratatat, not much damage and no kills.)
Honestly... it's bad, but it's not that bad. I averaged around 250 damage, and beyond damage, I pulled more than my weight. The Cicada is probably pretty useless with machine guns, but a Spider dancing around with jumpjets and a flamer? It drives people ******* crazy. Totally going to write a guide for it.

First, I decided to run each Jager variant without XLs for a while (and using every hardpoint). This pretty much garuntees lulz builds.
Mad props to the Stalker in river city that I played cat and mouse with for 7 minutes (last 2 standing). He was running a pretty nice mixed LRM/ERPPC +bunch 'o other stuff build. Obviously skilled, and he had upper base defense. I ended up having to do a complete end-a-round after the brawl in upper to even approach him. He played it very smart, and if I wouldn't have killed him...his next shot woulda got me for sure...it was that close. I don't think I've ever gone 7 minutes 1v1 due soley to smart play and not chasing down some fast mover.
I just wish that two-click instant death wasn't running around all over the place. Trying stupid builds is what I live for, but it drives me crazy when I go on a 0-5 losing streak because I can't carry. Maybe when SRMs are back...
Rounds like that are why I play the game. Remember the Awesome shield in River City? That poor Stalker =P

No. That's a game my unit plays called "Leg 'Em and Leave 'Em." Rules: You must leg every enemy before you try to kill them. It makes for some hilarious rounds.

I'm considering mounting some serious LRMage in my 3L's NARC tube. Nothing like ******* missiles.

Seriously. It was one of those rounds where I was drawing a ton of enemy fire, three of them were even chasing me out of position, and I was just waiting for the cavalry to arrive. Then I looked at the scoreboard, realized there was no cavalry, and sighed deeply.
The rest of the night went pretty well, though.

At least I take my sub-optimal mech out and do stuff with it.
You brave, brave man. The sooner we get SRMs back, the sooner we can start moving on from this dark, dark time in MWO's history. PPCheese is getting old. Whenever I decide to run my 732 or Stalker, I dominate, but it's no fun anymore. I feel bad for the people I'm shooting, I know what I'm doing takes relatively little skill, and unless they're running an equivalent amount of cheese, they have no chance.
Gotta get my Spiders mastered though, so I'll be refraining from winning for a while =P

I had a few 400+ rounds last night, but it's rare to do when the rest of your team has no clue what's going on. Well done, sir.
I see a couple boys from QQ in there... if MechSaint and MrBlonde weren't on the opposing team, I'm going to have to TK them with my Spider now.
