Hello,

While attempting to connect to a match and getting the loading screen, a error window pops up. I click ok and the window and game both close. Upon restarting the Patcher and logging in I see that my mech is still "In Match/Game".
I log out and log back in to see if that helps, but nothing changes.
Then I went to the Loadout screen and selected the "In Game" mech, switched the match type to "Testing Grounds", it managed to launch a game!
So I ran around trying out the weapons for kicks, but upon quitting the match, that Mech has dissappeared from its spot!
There isn't even a Trial Mech in its slot either! Just empty....
I had just saved up enough (CB) and bought that Mech last night! And though it wouldnt take that long to get it again, imagine had I spent Real money (MC) on it?

Sorry IGP, but that's enough for me to leave and look elsewhere for my Mechanized Action, maybe Hawken.
On the other hand I still love Mechwarriors in general, but not the bugs!
So...
Any ideas on how I can get my mech back would be greatly appreciated! ;)

Hey Jason,
Is this what you are seeing??

If you do, click on Mechlab at the top:

And click on Owned Mechs in the left bottom corner:

This game is still in beta and isn't complete yet. There's many bugs still left and much more content that's going to be released.

However, on the topic of your missing mechs, you should send a report, much like what you're written here, to:
support@mwomercs.com

The guys on the other end can look into your account and might even request game files or computer specs from you to help them source the cause for the missing mechs.
This is all in the nature of the beta, and everyone greatly appreciates anyone who helps make this game better and less problematic for future players.
If you HAD spent real money on it, the issue would still be treated the same way and they will do all they can to help get you your mechs back. It's rather odd that there's no mechs available, so it could end up being a communication error from your client to the server and back. It seems to be a logical reason since the Training Grounds works for you but is an offline mode and doesn't talk with the server, however other modes like Assault and Conquest are online modes which don't work for you.

Happy beta testing! ;) Hope they get you sorted out! Good luck and stick around :P

First off try to leave the "Mechanized Action, maybe Hawken." manipulation to your self.
This is community forums too, most people will help you out.
Best guess is your looking in the wrong place.
There is 2 sections, one is trial mechs and the other is "owned mechs".
Click that and you should see it.

I probably would have put it the other way around to MoonUnitBeta, but the advice is sound.

Oh yes! It all works okay now. =)
Thanks alot for your help you guys!

Maybe I'll be buying MC yet! =P

On a side note: The Hawken launcher didn't even work, how ironic...

Time to play some more MWO, man this game is addictive!

Hah yep! Boooo to Hawken.
You can't really compare the two games anyways.
MWO is slower paced, Hawken is more like a fast FPS.
MWO has modular damage (blowing off arms and lets) while Hawken is shooting a person that has a solid chunk of hitpoints (COD, Half Life, Halo, etc).
MWO reigns in customization, and will continue to do so when they implement model packs (like switching out different heads, feet shapes, shoulders, etc), and you can swap in and out any type of weapon, you aren't limited to only two weapons like in hawken, with 3 consumable things. In MWO you can have a huge array of different weapons on any kind of mech. And much more to come. Here's a really good thread that is kept up to date, to give you an idea of what is all yet to come *click*

The list goes on man. Welcome to MWO, hope you stick around, hope you don't get absorbed in the forums negativity. There's lots to come through the pipe!!! If you find a bug though, report it! By e-mailing these guys: support@mwomercs.com

Happy hunting! Hope to see you out there.
