Guess the Battlemaster is the only one anyone is interested in and I guess it goes to show why it is only available at the $80 Overlord package hehe. Wonder how many people are buying the Overlord for the sole reason that it is the only way to get the Phoenix Battlemaster?

I know right. They just want to throw in 7 PPCs. People who keep asking about the Annihilator want to put in 4 Gauss and 4 PPCs in that one too.

THEN the BLR-1G. Mind you from an art perspective, I am all about that BLR. Especially since it doesn't have pinkie thumbs or silly looking claws for hands.
But even though I wants them all, will probably be hard pressed to give up my Victors and Jagermechs.

No it's not.
But there is a large QUITE LARGE part of the Playerbase that only seems to think moar PPC+Gauss or ****. Hence why so much cries on the forums.

Sorta.

True, Battlemaster is what made me go with the Overlord, but I still would have done the $60 as the Thunderbolt/Shadow Hawk does look interesting.

The Thunderbolt is probably more my style of Mech though.
My son wants the Shadowhawk because he's just read the Grey Death Legion novel, which features it.

Same. Assaults are not my cup of tea. I prefer heavies and mediums.

CheezeRus [BLR-1G]: 7xPPC, 300XL, DHS, Endo
Please let them do it. One trigger pull and the heat will destroy their IS.

Of course, that is until the released model is as big as a Stone Rhino

Will it overtake my Jags and (hopefully) Orion? Maybe.

Just put a Streak SRM-2 in the head, CASE in each side torso, one jump jet and one ton of SSRM ammo in each leg, and one jump jet in the center torso. Fill the right torso with Machine Guns and the left torso with Streak SRM-2's, and run around chasing lights all day, even after both torsos have been blown off.

Also, T-bolt is on top of my list of the 4 available. The only one I am "less" excited for is the locust, but mostly because my current ownership of light mechs is essentially NILL, so I have a lot of options in the weight class comparitively for new stuff.

So why the big pack? because of... my steiner friends... i don't have any assaults but they want that damn steiner scout lance; so why don't do it with style?

If Phoenix packages were done like the founder's mechs then you might have a case to make.
I want to try the Shadowhawk is the new Hunchback.
Thunderbolt? Not sure it might be so wide Awesomes can hide behind it.
The Battlemaster is up in the air as well but I suspect we'll see lots of AC & PPC boats.
