My FOV has always been set to 75. Though there's always the possibility of the camera angles themselves moving.

Btw are you aware of the 'floaty mech is now landing' bug?

It's happened 3 times. Once with a BJ, twice with a CTF. Basically I look at the mech in the mechlab and cancel out (after talking for a while, rotating, discussing the build). When I do, the mech spins to the front while floating in the air with the legs curled up, and it brings the legs down as if landing from a fall without the torso moving, and immediately from there it looks like a power up animation played in the legs only as the entire mech lowers to the floor. Difficult to recreate and damn I want video of it. So if you see it let me know and try to record it!

2 times for the atlas. Don't have to move it the first time, but you do the second.
3 times for blackjack and jagermech.
as you can see i did camo spec, but you can use loadout or anything else that zooms the mech into the screen.

I got it on the hunchback a few times, but the camera wasn't rolling. It seems like it's 2 or 3 times for that as well, but it has to be turned at a certain angle. - although I'm not really sure. Can't get the spider or catapult to do it yet.

At the beginning here, I was trying to recreate it after seeing it. Then I go on to talk about how I scared a Misery with my AC/2s on a stock BJ.

But yesh. Back on topic: to be honest I like the new Jenner paintjob though I wish there wasn't as much black on the legs. We'll see what they do to my CPT-C1. Once they finish with all the mechs me and Lordred will go out to do more shots like the ones below.

Great pictures man.
Here's what is going to look like though if you re-take them. I copied their style and sandblasted all the edges and used a dark grey colour, and made only the center of the faces on the geometry bear only a little tiny bit of a customizable blue colour. I used one of your images Koniving because it was a nice upclose shot.

With every single corner with the same amount of sand-blast effect to it, it looks "pillowy" and the same grey colour on everything looks flat. There'd be some parts that are shiny because it basically has been polished, and the more tighter geometry areas would not be as worn away.

Anyways. It's bugging me because it was just fine the way it was before, and now they're spending time on it to look worse. I'm happy for their want to keep us happy, but in this case it isn't called for and I don't know why they're doing it.

yeah, it's a lot more bluey. But I wonder if that's just how they're making it, since the founders blue doesn't exist in the pallet (assumption), and the art guys must have liked the more vibrant colour more. I dunno. It's an odd change, and I still have no idea why they're doing it lol.

its probably more difficult to match the color exactly so they just eyeballed it.

Now here is what i don't get. I under stand this is supposed to be "wear and tear" but in game, "wear and tear" is gigantic gouges in the armor, whole sections of paint missing, so this doesn't add up.

The groin has yellow; you can see it starting from the bottom but it's faded out at the top. You can see the blue on the thigh pad, but it's black in the center from wear and tear. Same for on the shoulder. If you change the colors you can see those spots change.

The black isn't even unique anymore.  There are literally two of the same shade black for sale in the camo store.  It is pretty pathetic.

Wow.

Well, I suggested somewhere along the line that the PC Gamer colors (for those that didn't get the offer) should be on sale for 1.5m c-bills each (like the current "range" of basic colors). It would be fairer to everyone... but, it's easier to facepalm @ PGI decisions instead.

lol I use PC Gamer beige on a few of my Mechs from time to time. I like where the red has landed, its a good shade. The black is like polished charcoal... its got its uses.
I think its odd the colours are grouped to a camo but separate in price.. yes have so many similarities. They could have wrapped them together (colour/camo), matched them to current colours in the pool or sold them as just the pattern (bring your own paint).

(still waiting for glow in the dark{green, orange, yellow, white}, chromatic shifts{two and three colour options} and chromes{whole rainbow})

New paint job is manky, and contains two colours I haven't unlocked. That makes it two steps backwards from the previous version.

[added] Two locked colours, at least one of which costs MC to unlock!! What is this nonsense, PGI?

so they are using an MC blue instead of recreating the Founders blue?

See, I got the feeling that the Founders Paint job was supposed to be like a unique simple paint job that everyone could recognize by the colors.
-I like the Tundra Blue with the splotchy scratches that have been polished out
it makes the Founders look like it was used but still loved mech
The New Paint looks like it's an active work horse, the Worn down to the metal look gives it A Lack of distinguishable paint scheme.

-To be honest. I like how you couldn't change the Tundra blue or white,
Ya it locks you in, but it also makes you more Recognizable other than, "There's a mech with a F...what does that mean, meh whatever"

-the old colors and scheme remind me of like a Tundra Racer or something.

[Suggestions for PGI/debatable idea]
Put the worn down to the metal look on the legs
But keep the Tundra blue
Make the Striping pop out almost obnoxiously
but make the white look faded somehow?
also enable the colors of the White and Striping to be changed BUT Not the Scratched /Polished Tundra blue

i figured the paintjob would stay exactly the same, just able to colourize it or keep it as is.

sadly the textures seem much worse on the jenner now.
