This part of the log looks like it has the answer, though I'm not sure how to interpret it other than it mentions something not present in the user-interface/display:

Have you tried running the MWO repair tool? http://patcher.mwome...ORepairTool.exe

If that doesn't help, then you might start looking into your video card and drivers, making sure they are up to date and that dxdiag is not showing any errors. If you have an Nvidia card, Nvidia has a new GeForce Experience tool that might help adjust your settings to be optimal for your card.

Or, this could be a new bug in the game...

Funny thing is that the repair tool didn't say it found anything wrong but since running it, no problems. Not sure if just pure luck...

Unless I keep vsync on and shading to low, the game is unplayable as it will crash 9 out of 10 matches resulting in a lock up of the computer which requires a reboot by pressing the power button. It just started all of a sudden and repair tool hasn't helped sort anything out. I've tried older and the newest drivers and even reinstalled MWO but no luck.

EDIT: Now, after ~100 games, I had 1 freeze during a game. Still, nowhere near as bad as it was before this patch.

Getting worse now... exiting the Mechlab also froze twice already. And had about 5 ingame freezes now.
Pretty bad right now, a lot of ingame freezes i have to kill with the task manager.

The proposed workaround does not work, because ingame freezes also occur during the 1st match after starting the program.

UPDATE: Mechwarrior is now running fine. Apparently I have discovered a new bug. I felt so stupid after It actually started working. So, I have two Wifi cards running at the same time. Disabling one of them fixed the problem outright. It looks like a recent patch change didn't like the fact I was running on 2 network connections simultaneously. Previous patches didn't have a problem with this fact. Workaround has been attained, but still, I'd like this to be addressed. No other videogame or service has a problem with my network.

If anyone wants any info on my machine I'll gladly provide my specs if interested.

EDIT: It doesn't matter which Wifi card I disable, as long as there is only one of them running at a time fixes the issue.

The problem continues.... All settings are now set to low and 90% of my games in the Canyon map end with 30 seconds of the game starting. As soon as I turn my mech to go down a canyon the games locks up solid and I have to ctrl-alt-del to kill the process. This happens on other maps as well, but not as consistently.

Have you tried downloading WQHL drivers for your video card? I noticed your dxdiag said you were using non-WQHL video drivers, which could lead to freezes/crashes. Apparently, people using the last Beta Nvidia drivers had issues until they released the WQHL drivers a week ago.

I tried downloading the latest driver from AMD/ATI but it looks like they don't have an WHQL version available. for my card. I will have to keep an eye out and see if they put a certified version.

Just as a follow up, new drivers, rebooted, logged into the game, canyon assault map, ran 23 seconds then hard freeze. Had to ctrl-alt-del out and kill the task.

I don't know if it is related but...

Yesterday I downloaded but did not play the 12 vs 12 Test.

Last night it took 4 connection attempts to get into the game with Session Timeout and Network error messages around 10pm EDT or later. This morning upon clicking Launch I CTD for my first match.

None of this has ever happened before.

I noticed a problem with freezing three patches ago. Prior to then I had not had an issue with this since closed beta. My only course of action after a freeze is to ctrl+alt+del and close with task manager. Below is the information that task manager gives for the problem.

I am running the ame system and settings that I have been using since closed beat. I have run the repair tool several times, and always get the same answer. "No problems were found" Sometimes the game will run for several hours without having this issue occur. Other times I will freeze five or six times in the course of three to four hours. This has happened on every map, piloting different chassis, typically during a match, but recently at the load in screen and even in the testing grounds.

Hello,

i have the folowing 2 issues since the patch.
1. irregular game crashes
2. irregular freezes at the start of a match, so i have to kill the process by the task manager.

Im using the latest Win7 64Bit, on an Amd System FX4100 with saphire 7850, all the latest drivers and so on....
