Got stuck? Fell through an invisible hole in the earth? Weapons passing through phantom objects? All Map Collision / Stuck / Fall Through World / Shoot through Object related posts go here!

Please attempt to respond to the following questions in your responses:
  • The map affected.
  • The grid tile affected.
  • The Mech or weapon used to achieve the collision issue.

Where: Every single building or object in the game.

What: JJing mechs attempting to mount buildings or objects will "catch" on the edge, and that edge is considered a 45degree+ zone. This causes mechs to immediately become stuck while trying to land on objects until they turn completely around and walk in the direction they came from.

This is the second mechanics change (besides JJ shake) to unintentionally nerf JJ gameplay. This has effectively removed using JJs to mount terrain by making doing so trap your mech and make it a nice, immobile target.

Just got stuck in tourmaline...
kind of weasled my way up the slope, then i just began to fall and killed my engine. Slid down and stopped on... something. I tried to walk again but i was perpetually falling. Couldn't turn legs or accelerate. There's gatta be a timer on falling or something because getting stuck (although it's rare) it's pretty silly to be standing there like a bozo till the end of the game., Perhaps after 15 seconds of falling, the server will automatically relocate you to where you fell off or send you forward 25 meters. World of warcraft did this when you got stuck, it just randomly sent you to a new location on the terrain within a certain distance.

Dont know the name: Gateway Map (your own fault, there is no BRIEFING Page with TAB Button as many other Command features not there)

nealry in the middle of E6 F6 on a mountain

[color=#2B2E2F]I already had a Problem with the zoom module which i reported( it bugged me quite a bit) but this error kills all the fun i can see that a Mech gets slower when walking on to higher Terrain but when my highlander gets stuck without no reason and i get killed because of that, it kills the fun.[/color]

Again the changes was too big, is very hard too not a catch a stoppe from very small objects.

Speed is going down drastically.

Reduce the changes pleaseeee....

TBT-7M jumping near sigma (base of team near dropship) and got stucked between dropship and a fence in the air or somewhere between land, fence and dropship himself.

The spider appeared to be hovering. After dying, the spider fell thru the map.

Issue of "velco" when a battlemech get close to another battlemech or a building. Getting rubberband effect or worst... unable to move away even if facing directly away from another battlemech. Appears to have started with the new slope changes but I am noticing it much more now with my brawler fittings.

Most interesting example was a jenner joust and we both ended up spinning around each other unable to disconnect, almost like we were holding hands.

With the recent change to movement where you can get slowed down by a hill when driving a large legged tank (ADD Moment: I thought the reason for the legs was to have better movement over uneven land but guess that's my bad) I seem to be able to get stuck just about anywhere on any incline where my movement is slowed. When it happens I turn around or back up and then move forward again and typically do not hit the same problem again. For this reason I do not think its really a fall from the world kind of thing, but just the movement code. Even though its kinda silly to slow down a legged tank for a 30 degree slope I do like the general idea, just lighten it up a bit. It would also be much better if it were chassis specific.

I got stuck inside the actual base capture node (Kappa), I'm afraid I cant give coordinates but it was on the kappa node.

Basically I jump-jetted and I landed on top of it with my Jenner in a bad spot. I couldn't move and I was technically not on ground so I couldn't jump-jet out either, had to basically sit the game out until someone found me and killed me lol.
