There are no dual-Gauss or AC/40 Victors. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab

All of them have right-arm ballistics only. 9B, 9K, 9S.

Well that's pretty lame on one hand, but it also makes it a lot more tolerable a hero if it's not that wildly out of step.

I think everyone had assumed they'd move the leg hard points to the torsos until now.

Exactly Gierling.. Im well sick of Assault mechs that cant mount 2 AC 20s or 2 gauss.. hell even 2 AC 10s.. all are ammo dependent however go ahead and mount 6 PPCs ..

7 ppc's now with the battlemaster. That's okay. But a nice twin ac Assault would ruin everything apparently. Disgusting.

Shocking. It's like the realized what a huge ******* problem it would be to have a fast, AC/40-toting assault.

Awww we aren't getting the one with ballistic slots in the legs :)?

AC2s in the leg would have been cool!

Anyways, PGI has missed the boat yet again, go figure

Too bad they didn't do anything about the 4 PPC Stalker or the upcoming 7 PPC Battlemaster (not exactly viable due to heat, but still utterly hilarious and sad at the same time)...

No problem, it wouldn't be able to fit an XL with an AC20 in a torso mount. With a standard it will be either slow or fragile.

People will make a 7 PPC / LL BM for the lulz.

It´s interesting that people ask for more variety and all they come up with to prove their point(tripple ppc+ gauss) and simutainiously ask(dual ac40) for is the most cheesy pinpoint variants all over again...

If you think highlander and Victor feel to alike maybe try deaktivating armlock for a change

I'm not everyone I didn't, this remove the machines from the knees and put an ac20 in the other arm was a smoking fantasy, fortunately it was just that.

The Victor remains a Victor, its a bit damn wide, and the head looks like its been punched down through its shoulders like a Tom and Jerry cartoon but it is, a victor

I for one am glad they didn't put seperate ballistic slots for the simple fact that an assault with a pair of ac/20's or gauss rifles is by far a lot more viable than the current crop of mechs that can mount them. You have to give up a whole lot on those lighter mechs to get that pinpoint firepower. An assault walking around with full armor going 60+ on a standard engine with 8 tons of ammo, not to mention JJ would have people out for blood in the OP NERF THIS croud. So they did the smart thing and stuffed all the ballistics in one section.

THANK GOD.

PGI did something right!

I am happy with the DS. It seems to do what the Awesome should have done. I am not done tinkering with it though.

1 of 2 things needs to happen

1) put the annihilator in

or 2) make an atlas hero mech that has 2 energy points on each arm, 2 in the center, and 1 or 2 ballistic points in the left and right torso.

Or

HGN-733C

And the Gauss variant as well. The Victor is just a Highlander that can put a bigger engine in it. As for your loadout, mine has 3xSRM6 instead of 4s. And about the same cooling efficiency.

If PGI put in the Annihilator and made it MC only mech, they would get rich.

I was expecting them to do what they did with the Cicada and move them to the torsos. That would be 1b RA 1b RT 1b LT and would be more difficult to cheesify.

So looking at those two builds someone posted earlier,

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...7cbbbaa62ea6e3a

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...e2fba5ec58f8f58

I gotta say I am actually tempted to buy this mech now. Before I was planning to pass but it is carrying the same arsenal as a mech 10 tons heavier and moves 16 KPH faster that is pretty awesome in my book and will now need to debate purchasing it.

16 KPH that slow isn't worth it.

Also:

HGN-732

Look, same mech, about same speed and heat efficiency, jump jets, same weapons, heat sinks, weapons in almost the same place and MORE ARMOR.
