You sure you weren't just watching someone chain fire an ac?

The only ones that shoot especially fast are the AC2 with its crazy heat levels on par with energy weapons. And the UAC5, with it's crazy jam rate, though I heard if you chain 3 it doesn't jam.

You can chain it just right so it won't jam, but then it's just a crappy AC/5. If you fire them at Ultra rate, having 3 means you have a longer burst (before all guns jam) is all.

I was thinking the same thing after running several matches today. I may change my 'phract to ACs instead... or is PPC the fotm weapon now?
