Usually it takes ~2-3 days for new hitbox info to get added when mechs are released.

The Dragon Slayer isn't that good imo. I don't think there's anything wrong with the hit boxes either. It's just an underwhelming mech. It might be the new climbing mechanic, but the mech just seems sluggish and gets stuck on everything. I really thought this thing would be more maneuverable. For the record, I'm running the following build:

XL350
Gauss
PPC
2 MLs
2 Streaks

Not a lot of firepower. I might try to stack a couple PPCs on it to give it more punch. If SRMs ever get fixed, I think the AWS PB and 9M would tear this thing a new one. As it stands now, you have to play this thing as cautiously as you would an AWS. I don't know, maybe 80T is just too light for an Assault.

Got it in one.

I've been telling the people that want an Awesome buff that the problem with the Awesome is that it's the lightest assault. It cannot and should not compare with an Atlas, the heaviest assault. Yet they still argue they should be on par. Can you imagine the mobility of a Victor/Awesome combined with the firepower of an Atlas or Stalker?

The Stalker is a different beast and pays for it in other ways, IIRC its arc is smaller than other assaults, no arms, and engine limited.

Besides every mech should be different, otherwise why bother with introducing new mechs at all. Part of the game for me is learning how to pilot a new chassis effectively rather than just jump into generic light, medium or heavy and have it play exactly the same.

Actually, it's the terrain thing. And the inability to use directional JJ thrust. It maneuvers GREAT, on flat ground. And the JJs help for CQB, allowing fast turns. But they are horrible for terrain scaling, unless you want to take a running broad jump at everything and PRAY you can get high enough, because once you land, you can't continue up the slope..... the JJs just end you straight up.

It's 10x worse when in the city streets. The JJS should give it the mobility to evade, and you can really only do inline jumps. Kinda pointless.
