Well since I haven't spend a single penny is this game (yet I do have fun when I get the chance to play), I decided to finally support you guys a bit and invested into Project Phoenix.
Looking forward to the launch date and the chance to use my Unseen Mechs shortly after.

"...the original board-game was way to [sic] complicated and not fun....."
What a childishly ignorant point-of-view.
They've certainly bought into IGP/PGI's stance:
"MechWarrior is too complicated and not fun. Let's make it PPC on-line, that way it will be FUN."
Morons.

As it stands right now, I can't justify spending any more money on this game due to the total lack of information at what's going on. Do I want the Phoenix pack? Hell yeah. Will I spend $80 on a game where the features I want most have no information whatsoever in regards to their state of development? Hell no. I love battle tech and I love the idea of what this game can become... but I'm just a bit jaded by the wall of secrecy the devs are hiding behind. I'm not angry that things slip past their deadline... I'm just one of many who want to know why.

You were warn that many months ago. CW was not going to be in launch.
Warn that they were going to do another money grab, here is Phoenix.
Then the lovers of Pgi {fanboi s} ,call all us bitter this or you are angry that.
And here come Russ finally admitting CW is next year after getting your Phoenix money.
All I can do is laugh.

I would comment on this, but the grammar in this post is atrocious.

That is nice for you that life brought you a little joy.
In other news, I can't say I am pissed this is happening or that I feel the game isn't improving, but it is sure taking its sweet time. All in all the Phoenix deal was still solid in my opinion and still is now, but I will not give them any money from now on until CW is functional at a basic level or they offer us 12 v 12 custom games so we can arrange our own faction warfare placeholder. They need to deliver something more than a UI upgrade to open my wallet again. I am not angry, but I am firm.
I still love this game and want it to succeed, but I've given more than enough to get you to CW PGI, get it done.

i was so excited when closed beta came about, but i must say i havent liked the direction this game has moved in.
i am still trying to be hopeful that they deliver the game promised back in the day.
however i wont be surprised if they fail to do so.
if they do not go "live" on 17sept with some form of CW we can kiss that feature goodbye and mark MWO as just another cashshop moba.
this game should have never left closed beta without some part of CW and is no where near ready to be "live" imho.
the investment i had refunded when i felt they had failed to deliver as promised is still sitting in the bank waiting patiently for the day they are able to deliver the game i paid into.....though as time has gone by i feel that will never come to pass.
PGI has taught me to not invest in a pre-live game without guarantees that the game i invested is the game i get.
if i want to gamble i can always goto Vegas or AC.

12 v 12
UI 2.0
CW
And apparent of some form of 3pv
Weapons balancing/boating penalty.
...and really it's prob 4 patches because making major changes day of (or maybe a week before) release would be insane.
Yikes.

They're launching with whatever we get, no more promises of must have features. On the nice side, 12v12 is real close, and a new map is coming in the next month or so.

While I'm a "the glass is half full" type, I agree with many people that PGI has a lot of work ahead to get as much as possible into the game before the launch.
I'm having still a lot of fun (maybe because I don't play that much due to being too busy at work), but looking at War Thunder for example, you can see the advantage of having more game types and more maps.

Whelp, that does it for me. Looks like it is going to be a repeat of FFXIV. Pretty, but no substance.
