Don't blame the CoD players, they don't even like 3rd person. I think the reason they are so fixated on it, supposedly, is the Asian market because.. uh, their RPGs are often 3rd person just like ours?

Armored Core

Actually like those games but the 3pv is quite annoying

PGI is just flat out saying "Screw the entire community, everyone's gonna love it." And they won't. And they'll pretend we do anyway.

I'm also going to blame most AAA devs that are focusing on multiplayer. Because they ALL do the things I've been saying from day one.

Not Paul though. He can't possibly take someone else's feedback. He knows best. Truly he doesn't need to do what the other studios do, because after balancing the multi-player component of Transformers 2, how could he possibly be wrong?

They apparently get motion sickness from playing first person. Which russians also claim.

This is why no one plays videogames anywhere outside of Ameri- oh, wait. They're just making more excuses. I'm pretty sure it was company mandated for the WoT players to feel more at home, and that's all there's to it.

I don't post often, but when I do, it's because I'm right. I'm the coolest guy on the internet.

But seriously, all my good posts pointing out problems that were/are obvious and continue/continued to be problems now/until very recently were all in closed beta. (I know, how convenient.) Since the closed beta forums are gone (afaik), so are those posts.

I had some posts about how once they put in engine limits medium mechs had no purpose, because there was literally nothing they could do that other mechs could not do better (it's been obvious the entire time, but...).

I had one post on the eve of open beta detailing exactly how many cbills you could make by suicide rushing trial mechs into the enemy team and then starting a new game after doing so for an hour and applying some basic math. Unsurprisingly, it was more cash than you could make by actually playing the game (because they were bad at cbill rewards for performance back then... and R&R). So of course that happened a lot and people complained about it for several months. We all remember that.

And I had several posts about how stupid R&R was and the bad incentives. Plus how you could bypass it by not actually repairing anything but your armor/structure and just working with 75% ammo.

I stopped making those posts after the game went to Open Beta because it was clear that the devs weren't listening to their playerbase.
