I'm afraid that with a such little armor it would be dying very fast, especially from streaks, why locust is same size as raven anyway?

the energy locust runs at 170kph and can mount dual AMS. At that speed, the streaks will be in the air a fairly long time, so the dual AMS will have lots of firing time.

It'll still take damage, but unless you're very close it won't take much. Meanwhile, 3ML+2SL nipping at the streakmando.

That cockpit makes the Locust look really huge for a 20 ton mech. The pilot would have to be tiny to be able to see anything but sky.

What? The Spider is taller than the Locust.

The Locust is basically a MiniJenner.

Shadowhawk is enormous. It towers over Awesome. I want to see it side by side with Atlas.

This one makes me wish for what I have stated once or twice before.
The desire to strip out the heat sinks, ML, MG, and ammo, and load it with 5 tons of HE.
I may lose a Locust, but that Stalker would go down after I ram and detonate.
That said, I doubt PGI would put it in game though.

It's mommy taking the boy out to the park for the first time :D
"Mommy, can I go play with the other boys?"
"Yes dear, but be careful. Some of them have Streaks"

Its true that this Locust looks like a little bit like a jenner.

But I dont know If they did it as original, if some players want it. I like it. But Its true that original looks a little bit fragile B)Posted Image

Barely, and the Locust has a much wider and longer torso, which means that hitting it while it's moving is significantly easier.

It also has much thicker - and slightly longer - legs, and nowhere near the amount of armour. The Locust is a speedy deathtrap, and the only reason it can survive for more than two minutes is because everyone tends to target the larger, more visible mechs.

If you're piloting anything other than a Locust, and you want a Locust dead, it's not going to live much longer.

Why is that Locust all yellow?

And how do I get mine to look like it's on fire:
Posted Image
All I got was a red and black color scheme that looks nothing like that, and only for the non-(P) mechs.

Buy some yellow and/or orange colors.

Also looks good in blue and green flames:

Here's my current flamejob, trying to make it a little like the Autobot Hot Rod colors:

Well, the Phoenix variant (P) 'mechs are like the Founders (F) and Hero 'Mechs. You can't change their paint patterns, but you can change their colors.
