Hauser hit the nail on the head, this is reverse compensation from the server to the (target) client. We see it a lot when spectating.

These things happen since they implemented HSR. For example, I was shot at by a PPC boat on forest colony. I saw the shot miss to my side and hit the terrain beyond me. A half second later I was out of the enemies sight around a hill and my leg popped off from his "missed" shot.

Welcome to the wonderful world of HSR where the system decides which one of you will be right and which one will be saying "WTF!?!".

I didnt take it personal. :)
(sometimes people are not joking and such relevant threads could get closed. ;))
Seen some ugly discussions in the past weeks in this Forum. :(

And im also agree to Hausers thoughts. It do look like what he said....but without data its hard to say what is exactly causing this. ^^

Maybe PGI could find solutions for this issue.
