This match started off with my lance running off trying to flank the enemy in the tunnel on frozen city. I thought that was a bad idea so went to join the main group. My lancemates got killed almost imediately and a couple of enemys pushed through the tunnel so the main body turned to face them.

At which point the rest of the red team appeared over the dropship and started trying to flank us. So i pretty much single handedly played tail end charlie and kept the from coming over. I ended up running back and forth helping out the front line and keeping the rear attack at bay. Eventually my team finished off the attack from the tunnel allowing me to start the counter offensive on the rear attackers. Once a few of our fatties appeared i got stuck in and pushed right through their last lance all the way to their base.

I've discovered side coring mechs inflates your damage beautifully.

It works even better with Clam mechs, since they don't ST pop.

This match in my awesome 8q with two ppc's and two lpl just because i wanted to try the ppc quirks on this mech. Usually i run it with 3xlpl and 4xml but anyway.

Had a pretty poor team despit what the figures seem to say except for the centurion on my team and to a lesser extent the direwolf. From mid game my team seemed hell bent on hiding i barely saw them fire a shot. Meanwhile my awesome was playing bullet magnet. I took on and killed single handedly an ice ferret, a locust a jagermech and a centurion and tore up at least two other mechs after i died my team suddenly woke up and scavenged my last kill!

I just scored 191 in my FS9-A with 8 SPL. Even though it is only on basic skills so far, i love that mech + build after IS quirks. Cant wait for Elite. I can´t remember to have scored more than this before.

To do that in an X5 is either sheer luck or we should all be pulling up chairs around you and watching the replay on repeat taking notes!!

I thought 7 kills and 1k+ damage in my awesome was great....
