As in, make SRM2s fire faster, SRM4s somewhat less so, and leave SRM6s as they are now.
(Also, give them all a damage buff).
I guess you could also try something similar with LRMs, if only to prevent LRM5s from being utterly useless.

No damage buff needed. dual SRM6 already do 20 odd damage together,

I can't remember, but if SRMs still have splash damage, which equates to 2.0 damage, I am fine with their current damage. But if they do not have splash damage, then up them to 2.0.
I think SRM/2s do need a cooldown decrease. They should be lightweight, accurate, DPS shots.
