The guy doing the review mentions the joystick can be switched with the keypad for left handed players...

So does this possibly mean theres a chance u could buy indvidual components, for eg..if i just want the keypad/throttle + joystick only, will that be an option?

Thats cool, as long as the joystick is actually useable left handed, as well as moveable. By which I mean the thumb trigger would have to swap sides, and so on.

If it IS though, I may change my mind and buy this after all.

That doesn't make sense. Lefties don't have a right hand on the left side of their body.

What he means is that you can't just take a right-sided joystick and use it with your left hand, all the buttons and resting pads need to be reversed as well ^_^.

But to stay on topic, it would be pretty sweet if you could buy the components of the Artemis separately because it would make them cheaper...Honestly, the screen and mini-keyboard are nice, but if it costs $400 and the joystick alone is $150 or something, it would be much more affordable to the "lambda player" (read = poor ;))

I *would* probably buy it if I could get a left-handed stick... supports my control setup better.

On the other hand, the way I have my righty stick in my left hand for MWLL, the autoacq / reject switch (multidirectional thumb button sticking out the side... it's called that on an F-15 so I go with that) sits under my palm. I have it set so pushing it inboard (into the stick) activates MASC, so in order to sprint, I just squeeze the stick.
