Hey, been playing for almost a year now, and I have a question. Not sure if this is the right place for it. Sorry if it isn't.
My HUD has always felt a little zoomed in, but could never figure out how to fix it. I know that it's zoomed in because of some of the youtube videos I watch, and it's zoomed in an extra 10-15%.
I've played with the resolution - my monitor is 1920x1080, which is what the game is set to. I've mess with the settings. No dice. Everything is as it should be. No crashes, no bugs, no quirks of any kind.
The game's perfectly playable as it is. It just irks me somewhat, and if I could get some help with getting it as it should be, I'd appreciate it.

You can change the FoV in the user.cfg file by adding the following line:
The number is the FoV expressed in degrees. I think the min is 60 and the max 90, with default set to 65.
If you do not already have a .cfg file, you might need to make one. goto:
C:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online, then click 'new folder' on the taskbar and name it user.cfg. When you open it, just use notepad to alter it, and be sure to save it when closing it. If already running, the MWO client needs to be restarted for changes to take effect.
cl_fov = 75

I run it at about 80. The higher the number the further back in the cockpit you sit. Some mech variants are actually hindered with a higher FOV number so try out various settings till you find one that works with the mech you run the most.
