when i see an ecm-capable mech without ecm

when i see trial variants

when the atlas that i have been following for 5 minutes fires lrms from his left torso

when someone takes company command and removes people from my 4man to make nice weight-matched lances

when someone takes company command and puts those huge icons on the minimap so i can't see seismic

when the lights say they are going to go cap the enemy base 4 seconds into the match

I usually only screenshot matches where i think that ive done pretty good but i got one from monday that is worthy of this thread:

I think i lost ~10 matches in a row on monday, most scoreboards were comparable to the one above :)

[edit] Got another one that meets the threads requirements although it somehow misses the spirit

I saw a Commando LRM boat once. True story.

Hey, that's not THAT stupid. That guy could stand in a crater spamming his LRMs while no one could see him because of his height :)...

Should have seen this one match I got shafted with. I was around 500 dmg with a LRM boat, but my team in total barely managed 250.

I couldn't believe it at the time. Shoulda taken a screenie.

The thing that tells me match making is in a really weird spot is that last night in the span of 5 games I got paired with

a - players who I know have high assault Elo and they were in assaults
b - a player who has a post in the new user forum asking for help about which mech to buy next with the rest of his cadet bonus

*Edit* apparently b ) makes :)

Not everyone plays PPCheese some of us don't run the cheese

And those same players are the designated casualties who put up damage scores under 100 in assault mechs because the other team has no qualms about being "cheesy"

Play the game we have and stop trying to fool yourself into thinking it's worth doing anything else but FOTM PPC spam.

I gave up and reconfigured a Stalker as a PPC and I will almost always make 400-500 damage, at least!

During the last tournament I had a match in my Jenner with over 700 damage and 5 kills and 3 assists. I was the last man standing and took out three enemies for the win.

When I looked at the scoreboard and saw what the rest of my team did, I nearly shat myself. One other guy on my team had 3 kills with about 400 damage, but the rest of the team had sub-100 damage numbers. Sometimes, after a match like that, I'm afraid I might aggravate an old back injury

Sadly a match like that is the ONLY way to come close to winning those tourneys.

You probably have a high ELO so matchmaker gave you a bunch of noobs in an attempt to bring you to their magic number.

It happens to me, all day every day.

Dude, how do you do 1136 damage with a Wang, and not kill the entire enemy team?

Were you just spraying damage all over the place?

I just can't see how that wouldn't result in more than 3 kills.

Your damage total is more than what the rest of the entire team combined managed to output.

Just had a match where I did 354 damage before dying.

The rest of my team combined.......350 total damage between 7 of them......yeah....so....ahhh.....

If you are a 1st Davion Guard ou should be able to beat any team but say the Genyosha or you need to change the location you are using, cause You are not elite enough to be in that elite a unit

The worst ones lately for me have been when I'm running my dual LRM10 Centurion with 2 Medium Lasers and I am outdamaging most of the team.

Some truely bad players, not just on my team, but the ones who let me stand at 400m with TAG on them and just spam my LRM's without bothering to do anything.

Yep, 9 times out of 10 (actually probably more like 19 times out of 20) when I die it's because I was brought down by sheer weight of numbers because my team mates were useless, rather than because I was beaten by a more skilful player. It's annoying, but it is what it is.

That's funny, I love dropping with most forum goers.

I saw Stjobe recently (although against me).

I've dropped with LordBraxton and a couple other folks.

From the Medium vs World Leaderboard challenge. I ended up getting 3rd by about 30 points. With a win, surviving, and 2 assists or kills from those last two guys on their team, I would have won the thing. This is the most extreme example I think I have.

When he has to do the 3 kills all by himself. He only attacked 4 people. That is in no way spraying the damage.
