Hi, I haven't played MWO in awhile, but I was wondering if the joysticks such as this one: http://www.google.co...9QEwBA&dur=2791
I remember such joysticks being compatible with mechwarrior 4, so I was wondering if the same is going to follow MWO. Note: The reason I am asking this is because when I try to configure the throttle and turning system, it only allows me to bind it to the right or left for turning with the stick and up the throttle or down the throttle with the slider.

Yep, it should work, but I'm not using my joystick so you better wait for an answer by someone who plays with one.

you need to bind it to the Analog Steering and Analog Throttle.
i would not personally recommend using joystick, it makes it difficult to aim, you just cant match the accuracy of a mouse, but i know people that play very well with one.
I have also seen people use the joystick in their left hand, and use the X-axis for throttle, and keep the mouse for aiming. thats pretty fun but if your joystick has any sort of centering mechanism and/or is not too sturdy against the surface, it makes your wrist hurt after a few games of holding that down.

I've played thousands of hours of FPS with joystick and mouse combo and it never hurt my wrist. What it does do, is eventually break the centering mechanism, which isn't really made for being held forward 90% of the time on most sticks. In MWO however, I can use the numpad throttle when simply moving from point A to point B and save the stick throttle for actual combat. That should save it from some of the strain.
