Nope, Diablo 3 is basically a better version of Mechwarrior: Online.

Good thread.

yes this thread is awful. Diablo 3 is a huge disaster that is p2w, which MWO isn't.
diablo 3 servers are less stable than Lindsay Lohan

I haven't played it a quite some time, but I could've sworn a portion of the playerbase hated diminishing returns because it made a bunch of useful stats completely worthless at higher difficulty levels.

If anything, PGI is a lot like blizzard in the fact that they inherited a goldmine IP and somehow still ran it straight into the ******* ground.

When I started playing MWO as a founder, randomly picking a cat as my go-to-girl, it was frustrating (but fun) struggling to keep my kill ratio up. Imagine my joy when I finally discovered that ditching everything, speed, armor, flexibility and strapping an extra ac20 to my hull, would increased my kill ratio tenfold. To misquote Jurassic Park: it acquired no discipline on my part to achieve this. That is not right. I think it needs to be fixed. Simple solutions apply.

Regret quoting that D3 guy, this is not about Diablo 3, it's about DM and if it could solve the balancing issues of MWO, nothing else.

Which is still one of the poorer idea's around to solve any of the issues we face. The closest you'll get is a diminishing dps/per heat return by using a multi wep heat penalty. Pgi's idea so far as presented has more holes than swiss cheese, but could be modified to get closer to the aimed goal.

Could you please point out why this is a poor solution? Why those that have adopted it have failed? It helps me rewire my brain to the right path ;)

BTW, heat won't address ballistic (on high caliber) but specifics are not what I'm after anyway...
